I don't know anything about this extension but I downloaded it and there was an Options Box in the usual place - in the Extensions list before Disable and Remove.[W10;Fx44]. If you don't see this you could try removing it and re-installing it. Questions re Extensions are usually better referred to the Developer.

On Mac you need to look in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" (about:addons page > Extensions tab) to find the installed extensions.

Have you made any progress? Both positive and negative answers can help other users including contributors.

Unfortunately, I haven't. There is no Options tab for me. I even uninstalled/reinstalled it. Nothing. Luckily my bookmarks and history came back when I restarted my computer. But for future reference, I'd love to know what is going on.

I did all of that but I don't have an Options tab that the Developer noted in order for me to use the extension.

I can't do anymore but this may help someone else. Do you have the Disable and Remove boxes alongside the extension name? Edit - a little more. Do other extensions show Options, Disable, Remove?

On Mac and Linux the button to invoke Places Maintenance is labeled as Preferences.
