I keep getting logged out of my Yahoo account after 15 seconds to one minute. I have read multiple articles claiming to solve this problem, but my problem has not been solved. Oddly, it also does this on Google Chrome, but does not occur when using Internet Explorer. I have checked my add-ons, and restated Firefox in safe mode, and it still does it. I have also cleared all of the cookies. I have no idea what else could be causing the problem, please help.

You can check the connection settings.

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

See "Firefox connection settings":

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that has effect.

If the above does not help,

You may have a corrupt cookies.sqlite file.

Type about:support in the address bar and press enter.

Under the page logo on the left side you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To it’s right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.

Locate the cookies.sqlite file. Then rename or delete it. Restart Firefox.

unfortunately, neither of these responses fixed the problem. i deleted the cookies.sqlite file, after trying the safe mode method. i was not able to even access the internet after switching to no proxy and restarting in safe mode.
