Be nice to see a screenshot of that YouTube message. Also, have you considered changing Flash to Never Activate [at least temporarily] to see if you don't get that message?
here is a screen shot. I have adobe flash on never activate
Try to update to Firefox 40.0.3 to see if that makes YouTube use the HTML5 media player.
it still does fix my problem
Did you try the extension?

- You can also choose HTLM5 video player as default one from add-on settings.
