Firefox will only open as an administrator

I run Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I moved my AppData with an mklink /j option. Firefox would not start. It will start as an administrator. I have many times unsuccessfully tried to modify profiles.ini When I change it, it will not open. If I delete profiles.ini it will start as an administrator and create a new one. In order to change profiles.ini I have to save it to My Documents as an .ini, then move it to Firefox folder in Mozilla AppData on F drive. But every time I do, it will not start as not an administrator or as an administrator until I delete profiles.ini
