HELP! Download older version of Firefox to Android phone & tablet
I have to use a website for work that does not load with the latest version of Firefox (39.0). I have spoken with my tech support people and their only suggestion is to downgrade to the previous version of Firefox. I'm on a HTC One running Android 5.0.2. I'll need to do the same process on my Google Nexus 7 tablet which I think is running the same version of Android.
Yes, I know this is not recommended!
I also know this is where to get the previous version: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/
What I need help with is exactly what to do next. If I open the folder called 38.0/, which I assume to be a version that works, I get this:
Index of /pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/38.0 [ICO] Name Last modified Size Description [DIR] Parent Directory - [DIR] android-api-9/ 06-May-2015 11:25 - [DIR] android-api-11/ 06-May-2015 11:30 - [DIR] android-x86/ 06-May-2015 10:57 - [DIR] source/ 06-May-2015 10:26 -
Now what do I do? I don't know which of these things to open next or how to ask my phone to install them. Can someone help me with the step-by-step process? And any suggestions which version I should go for, considering that it all worked fine until 39.0 was released on Jul 3?
Many thanks!

What problem do you have with the web site? Can you provide a link?
I get this error:
SSL received a weak ephemeral Diffie-Hellman key in Server Key Exchange handshake message. (Error code: ssl_error_weak_server_ephemeral_dh_key)
There is nothing I can do about it except go back to an older Firefox. This is what my tech folks tell me.

Tell your tech folks to fix their web server configuration.
Thanks for the suggestion. My tech folks are aware of the issue, and have advised me to revert to an older Firefox as a work-around. I think the issue is with the open source EMR (electronic medical record) - (https://oscar-emr.com/) that we pay them to administer but not build.
If anyone can answer my original question re: how to install an older version of Firefox to my Android phone, please let me know!
May be this site will be of help. http://firefox.en.uptodown.com/android/old
