I have used Firefox for years. At 70 years old, I do not like change. As of yesterday when I open up firefox I got a completely new home page. WHY? What can I do to reinstall the old homepage. Can you send me the old download home page. thanks

Running Windows 11 x-64. Mozilla Firefox splash screen does not load. Even after one hour, I can still see twelve, blank "boxes". There is a continuous, left-to-right, vertical, "windscreen-wiper-like" movement within each of the twelve boxes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Mozilla Firefox, including a standalone installation. Sadly: this has not changed matters. Please see attached screenshot. Regards and thanks.

Some Firefox update recently put that huge banner of wasted space with a Firefox logo on the top of my Home Page. Before we could go into config and take it away, but no more. This giant banner is invisible, but pushes all my tiles linking to saved pages well below the window of my laptop. Weird choice, and apparently, everyone hates it. Please good people of Mozilla, rethink this nonsense. This is a FEEDBACK, from a long longtime user and admirer of Mozilla, and a yearly donator. Have pity.

In the previous version of the Firefox opening screen, I had a Google search bar. Below this would be the most popular sites I had visited in a three line grid.

Since the update, the Firefox logo and a huge amount of white space now occupies nearly half the screen before we even get get to the Google search bar. The three line grid of most recent sites has been pushed to the bottom third of the screen and the third line of the grid I actually have to scroll down to see.

Since the most recent update installed on Firefox, my homepage no longer loads on opening the browser. Instead, a blank page loads, and I have to hit the home button in order to get to my home page. I've checked and none of my settings have changed, so don't see what else it can be other than some kind of bug?

Best Buy Tech support took control of my computer today to get my printer to scan to the computer. After that was done, I went to my FIREFOX hompage only to see it completely changed from the way it was and I am now trying to get it back.

Attached below is a screenshot of my homepage for Firefox desktop (Windows 11). I have uBlock Origin, but it doesn't block anything on the homepage. I have two specific concerns:

• I tried inputting both gmail.com and mail.google.com addresses for the URL of my shortcut, but it always displays a generic icon instead.
• The YouTube icon isn't transparent.

I used the same layout/theme on a previous Windows 11 install and these two problems did not occur at all. What's the possible solution for this?

I will rather that when I open Firefox, it opens to a specific page such as Refdesk.com. Please guide me to where I may select this option. Thanks
