Lost my session. Not the first time, so I went to retrieve it with sessionstore.jsonlz4 Put it in the directory above the backups as usual. Not working. No matter where I put it, Firefox is not restoring my session. Tried everything I can think of, no joy. Would really like to recover my session. Has the location changed? Different file name? Firefox has done a lot of updates lately. I am on a pc operating WIndows 10.

Why can't Firefox copy text to the clipboard anymore? It won't copy text from a web page, from a URL, or even from about:support "Copy text to clipboard"!!! I'm using version 1.22 64 bit on windows 11. I've reinstalled Firefox but it doesn't make a difference. I've tried "Troubleshoot Mode" and it's still broken!!!

I can paste into Firefox but something has broken copy!

printer is not recognized as being online although my other devices don't have the problem. i use Firefox on all devices

been getting a printing error the last couple days this message "error occurred while printing". Printer then puts out partial page(s) then stops printing. been trying to print copies of tax forms ( 11 pages)?? page that print shows Firefox in top left corner of page. This morning, I was unable to log into Discord to watch a livestream because my hard drive was overfull and it was unable to install a mandatory update. Because this was a time sensitive issue, I wiped a bunch of crap off my drive as fast as I could, and I guess somehow I deleted my browser bookmarks because the field now shows as empty when I open Firefox. I was able to track down the backup file, but it throws an error when I tell it to restore. Is there anything I can do about this?

I have many tabs open at the same time and I'm noticing tabs from Urban Dictionary in particular are automatically changing to suspicious sites, quite a few porn sites in fact.

Is this something Urban Dictionary is doing to direct viewers to sponsors or is there a bug in my FF browser?

For one site I go to there is an internal menu where I should be able to scroll down. In Firefox, there is no option on the right side for me to scroll down...but in Chrome I have no problem. The owner of the website said it should work in Firefox but it's not. I have attached images from the 2 browsers. I have attached 2 screenshots. For Chrome you can see to the right of the numbers under the Acct # column that I can scroll down. But in Firefox I don't have that option to scroll down to see entries at the bottom of the list.

Help! How can I fix this so I can scroll down in Firefox for this sub-menu item?

Hello! I synced my browsing data yesterday by signing in to firefox account and reset my OS(window 10) to improve my laptop's speed. When I am trying to get back my browsing data back after resetting and installing firefox by signing in to my firefox account and pressing the Sync Now button then its not giving me my browsing data back. Why is it so? Need Help. Thank You!!

The page https://www.stardock.com/products/groupy/update opens during the loading of the OS background processes. I have looked up on the windows task manager, the about:config and haven't found anything related to this process.

When I go into Privacy & Settings, then cookies & site data, I uncheck the box for cookies & site data. It doesn't save. Next time I go in it is checked again. How do I get this setting to save? I'm using Windows 10, Firefox 124.0.2.

Windows 10 PC bookmarks have disappeared. Followed instructions to other profiles where momentarily saw bookmarks in a different profile, but couldn't find instructions on how to copy into default profile. Then bookmarks disappeared from that profile also. I do NOT want to sync to my other device; it has its own bookmarks. How can I retrieve my bookmarks other than syncing?!! Seems like a lot of other folks have the same problem.

Yesterday, I was invited to update Firefox on my desk-top PC running Windows 10. When I did, all of my open tabs were absent from the new version. Luckily the old version was still open with my open tabs. Today, my old version opened again with the open tabs and a window that said the automatic updated didn't happen. It invited me to update again. I clicked on "More information" and it went to an error message. My question is, how do I save all of my open tabs when I update Firefox?

When I click on install Firefox 124.0.2 the following window pops up stating; Sorry, Firefox can't be installed. This version of Firefox requires Microsoft Windows 10 or newer. Please click the OK button for additional information.

Which opens up a new window giving me the following installation requirements.

   Windows 10 or later

Recommended Hardware

   1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster compatible processor or System on a Chip (SoC)

As previously noted, my windows operating system and hardware meet the Firefox System Requirements.

Please let me know what needs to be done to install Firefox 124.0.2

Hi there, my name is Alvimutmex. Every time a webpage loads with the Mozilla browser, a "not supported" message appears. Upon examining the settings, I found that Mozilla has to be updated. Would you kindly assist me with updating Mozilla? For example, I receive an error notification when I try to open (https://pdfmedicalbooks.com/).

I am very surprised and somewhat disappointed that the Password manager protection does not sync across devices. I refer to thread:"Firefox Primary Password is different on my 2 PC's" in the archived Q&A section.

I love the Password manager and this is my main source to keep track of the 1000's of passwords we have to have to operate nowadays and they are easily accessible. It was always my issue that I felt they were very vulnerable as I had not turned on the Password protection due to bad past experience with not properly understanding the feature at first and being locked out of all my passwords or so it felt. I have now re-established this option and feel more secure(maybe foolishly). But, I believe there is a serious security flaw in Mozilla. I can understand that you offer the option to have different password on a per device basis. However I feel the implementation of this is very dangerous and can inadvertently expose all my passwords without my consent.

When I opened my new computer, I did set-up Firefox as my primary browser and enabled Syncing data. I made the foolish assumption that Syncing my password would offer me the same protection as the one I have on my main PC. I was surprised not to be asked for my main password when opening the browser nor do I recall been asked to set-up one new one for the new machine.

If my profile says that I want my passwords to be protected, I would at minima force the same default on any new browser install and require either authorization and / or verification from the original or another previously registered device before sharing the passwords. Passwords should be protected by default as defined i my profile. Otherwise, if my Firefox account is compromised, I will automatically expose all my passwords to anyone.

I do not recall, because I do not install Firefox everyday, but on my Android device, I was not asked whether I wanted to protect my passwords or not. They were by default or so it felt. Yes, they do not use my main password, they rely on my bio-metric info. So, there is a basic layer of protection. Why not in Windows?

Accidentally closed browser with many multiple tabs open. Tried to restore history but option was grayed out. Tried several times but was not able to get back to the original browsing window with the multiple open tabs.

Would really appreciate help on this, if possible, as the many multiple tabs contained family history research that will be difficult to impossible to duplicate.
