This has happened several times in the last 4 months or so, it had never happened prior to that and I've used Firefox for years. It now occurs when I open Firefox after my computer has either been shutdown, or the computer does a restart. I am signed in to my Mozilla account.

A while ago when using the setting firefox noticed that i was using a vpn and turned the settings off. At least that was what i believed. Turns out, that only works with browser vpn addons that use the firefox settings. But these addons do not use wireguard, but tls to encrypt your data. If i use a vpn, and want to use the dns settings provided by them, i have to turn of the feature the dns over https feature from firefox. I only want to use that feature, if im not "protected" by a vpn solution of my choice.

I've gone into Extensions and Adblock isn't there. There isn't anything to remove or cancel. Yet numerous websites seem to see something and say I have a adblocker. I did have Adblock Plus at one time, but canceled it and removed it. What else can I do. My Firefox is up to date. I have Windows 10. My computer is incapable of going to Windows 11.

Simple: just wanting to forward a news article to a friend, but I have to go through all this mess first !! I am running out of time, and may just quit. So frustrating.

Not able to create new tabs on this Firefox browser on Home computer while the same is working fine on my handheld. The tabs are synced between the devices. Moreover, after I switched back from Vertical tabs to horizontal these issues cropped up and they are persisting after multiple browser restarts as well.

The `Passwords` page can not show any username and password. But the firefox can still fill usernames and passwords automatically and remenber new passwords. I can export data via menu (right-up) too.

The account dwr50@excite.com is no longer active yet firefox keeps trying to use it to log into things like this support area. How can I get rid of the old email address ?

I have been reading about turning off enhanced tracking protection permanently; HOWEVER, the solution does not work. Going to privacy and security, clicking custom and turning everything off still does not shut the thing off fully. The shield in the browser is still active and I constantly have to still turn it off I even had to turn it off to get on this site. That is pretty sad when the makers of the browser block their own site using enhanced tracking protection. Is this another case ( i've seen thousands) where some sortware nerd is trying to show how clever he /she is at coding and in fact messes everything up? WHY DO YOU SIMPLY REMOVE THE TRACKING PROTECTION ENTIRELY... IT'S SO ANNOYING.

btw: none of the enhancements like Bold or Italic work on this site either.. great job..../s

Whenever I try and access the UGC cinema site - showing latest movies in various locations - the opening page gets blocked straightaway upon opening: my screen turns dim, I cannot select either latest movies or cinema hall where a given movies is shown... I cannot do anything. The mouse refuses to click anywhere .. Strangely when I open the same site , namely https://www.ugc.fr/ , with another net provider: either Opera or Microsoft Edge, I do not have any problem ... Why does this site work OK with Opera or Microsft Edge and not with Firefox ??? I get no warning or error message from Firefox either, nor from my Antivirus ... A real puzzle. I'm trying to cancel my mozilla vpn under this email but it's not showing up. I can't remember if I made an account at that time or just made the purchase. The vpn was for Linux, but right now I'm using Windows, is there a way to carry the program over? or do I just cancel?
