I've freshly reinstalled Windows 11 and after trying to access and watch a movie on any of these sites I get an error (see the pictures).

Browser version: 137.0.1 (64 bit) Widevine version: 4.10.2891.0

Already tried to disable/enable DRM. Already reinstalled firefox. Already manually installed widevine. No clue what could be causing this issue.

after many hours of Google search and trying many changes in the "about:config" section im done with things to try so my last chance is here.

The problem i have is that videos dont play if i mouseover the firefox window or tab i.E. on the windows taskbar. The video will only start to play if i click on the window/tab and that window/tab is the "active" one im looking at.

It worked fine before but some firefox update f***ed this up (and yes the official firefox updates are the only thing that changed), no i dont know which update it was because i didnt recognize the problem right away.

The autoplay option is set to allow media and audio.

The weird thing is that when i open a video in the vlc player and do the mouseover, everything works just fine. So my conclusion is that some setting was messed up on the new firefox version.

Some data of my pc, everything is updated: - Windows 11 Pro - CPU is AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 3,4GHz - GPU is AMD Radeon RX 7900XT - RAM is 32GB DDR4 CL16 - Internet is wired connection with 250K speed - Firefox Version is 137.0.1

For years I have been able to watch a foreign TV website, despite having only a DSL connection (I allow only the scripts essential to make it work). Since I did the last update, to 137.0, I cannot watch either the live stream ("General source error") or old programs ("There is something wrong with your internet connection"). This is absolutely consistent; I've lost count of the times I've tried.

I never had problems like this before. At worst, if Windows was running a background process I might have to stop it to keep from having pauses in the program. All I can think of is that you did something in the new version of Firefox that has made video impossible on DSL.

Hi, I need to know how to activate the toggle button for Autoplay on the YouTube Music browser page. There is only an "Autoplay is on" notice but no way to turn it off. It exists in Chrome (yuck) but not in Firefox. Please save me from what some AI bot thinks is my music preference!

Здравствуйте. Последнее время заметил следующую проблему. При открытии некоторых сайтов, где есть видео или транляции, колесиком мышки открываю нужные видео или трансляции в новых вкладках. Ситуация следующая. Если не спеша открыть несколько вкладок, например 5, после перейти к ним, то нужно нажать в центре видео/трансляции "плей", чтобы видео стало работать. НО, если открыть вкладки (так же 5 или более) и сразу же переключаться на них, то видео будет автоматически стартовать. Раньше так и было при добавлении нескольких вкладок с видео, а после переключения на них, видео сразу открывалось. Теперь - нет. В настройках ничего нигде не менял, проверял как на версии браузера для пк на 133..., так и на последней 137... Отключал все дополнения, в настройках сайтов давал разрешение для автовоспроизведения аудио и видео. Хочу отметить, что такая проблема на многих сайтах. На некоторых же всё работает как и раньше. Также отмечу, что переустанавливал браузер с полной очисткой. Железо у пк хорошее, озу 32 гб. Никогда проблем такого рода не было. Прошу помочь с решением проблемы.

I have Firefox 137.0.1 (aarch64 ) running on my Raspberry pi 5 ( 8G Memory ) ( Ubuntu). I have been using this Desktop-settup for 2 years now without problems and all of a sudden, I get a lag on my sound when watching a video. And I do recall observing that an automatic update was done during the past few days.

So I can only assume that the update is to blame for this. Has anyone else noticed something?

I tried searching for a way to report this problem to the developers but I have not found anything.

Perhaps the community can suggest a way for me to pass this to the developers ?

Video files won't play on the msn.com website; the same videos will play on another browser, but not on Firefox. What do setting I need to change?

Sorry if this is not the right place to report this, this is my first time and im lost between all these 3 different pages "Discussions/Support/Bugzilla".

The latest Firefox (v137.0) update for Windows 11 that I installed today broke something possibly related to DRM-protected content, at least for me. Now whenever I start streaming live sports, the video always plays in the lowest quality (possibly even lower than the lowest option available in the player, for some reason?).

I tried to restart my PC, clear the cookies for that streaming website, disable all my extensions, but same issue. On my other browsers everything works fine as always, so only Firefox got broken after this last update.

I have both of these options turned ON even before the update: - Use recommended performance settings (Hardware acceleration). - Play DRM-controlled content.

Why do I think it's related to DRM? Because I can now record and take a screenshot of the video, unlike before the update where it always turned into a black screen.

Can't seem to stream Netflix. Firefox is up to date. New Widevinecdm update today 4/2/2025. Apparently since that update (today) I can't stream. I get Netflix error code F7702-1003. Searched/read several FF articles/forum Qs - no help. did a "refresh FF" - no help. don't want to install Chrome (Google knows too much about me already). Netflix worked fine last night. Tried unchecking "play DRM controlled content" - FF(Netflix site) asked to enable DRM - clicked ok - reinstalled. no help. Hard reboot - no help. Still running a Win7 64-bit desktop OS - works fine.

Yesterday I updated Firefox to version 115.22.0esr this morning when it was released. Have never had any problems viewing video on Netflix but now I am getting Netflix error message F7702-1003. Yesterday I asked "what can I do? I've rebooted computer as Netflix says and it didn't help."

Today, to see if the issue was a bug with version 115.22.0 esr I logged onto both Peacock and Hoopla to try to stream video. On both sites the same thing happened that happened on Netflix. I log into the site, select a video, and when I try to play it I get a message that "widevineCdm plugin has crashed" and video won't play.

Since this problem just appeared after I updated to version 115.22.0 esr it seems likely that there is a bug in this version which is crashing the plugin and preventing streaming video. I note that I can stream some video having checked both YouTube and an online television station.

Asking after trying way too many things FIREFOX 135.0.1 (64-bit) lates version and fully updated.

Playing Youtube Videos fails as the video keeps loading forever.

It happens randomly but often. It could happen trying to play the video the first time (keeps loading forever) or if the video is playing ok and you try to search any frame in the video or jump some time in the video, the frame stops and keeps loading forever.

I suspect it could be an extension because if I use Firefox in troubleshooting mode it works. However I tried to disable extensions one by one until none was enabled and still fails. Tried all options in the proxy. BRAVE works ok (but I installed it fresh to check another browser, I still prefer Firefox)

The issue happens only on Youtube. Youtube premium. Images attached of an example video that got stuck and loading and the list of extensions that I have, I tried to DISABLE ALL thes EXTENSIONS and still fails (???)
