Firefox could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

I am developing large file download feature for a website. I would like to support resume for the download. It is wired that only FF throws error "could not be saved, because the source file could not be read." once I click "Resume". IE, Chrome are both fine. I am using FF 14.0.1 at the moment. I hope it is not a bug for FF.

It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
