why is the new download manager not working properly? When I download music from Playlist, it is saving it as .mp3.mpg instead of .mp3

I recently installed the latest version of download manager. I download music from Playlist.com. Now when I download a song, it says .mp3.mpg instead of just .mp3. Now I cannot install it to my ipod because of the .mp3.mpg
