Tabs reappear when opening firefox after closing it

For the past few weeks, it seems to me, I have noticed that if I close a tab on Firefox for iOS, and at some point later I force-quite Firefox, then the next time I open Firefox, the tab that I had closed will reload as though I had never closed the tab or app. I am curious if this is something the developers are aware of and can fix? Or if there is some other solution?

Fyi this was fixed in the latest update though it comes with some other tab related changes
