I have a question regarding syncing. Is there a way to remotely remove all synced information from Firefox on a particular PC without actually accessing it? For example, if I sync my home PC Firefox with my laptop or my work PC. Then, one day, for some reason I no longer have access to my work PC, and all of my sensitive information is there. Or if I lose my laptop, or if it is stolen... Is it possible to remove all sensitive information from a remote synced PC? Alternatively, is there a way to remove all synced information every time I close the browser? This way I can remove a particular PC in my Firefox account and once the browser is restarted at the remote location, the data will no longer be pulled and synced. Can this be done? Thanks in advance!

Chosen solution

When you use Sync, the data from the various devices is merged and stored in local data files on both computers. As far as I know, there is no way to "remote wipe" that data from another computer.

Unfortunately to remove or delete sync from another PC/Device is to change the password on the main PC and logout of both to insure nothing from the Main PC remains on the other devices. This is why I inform users never use another user computer for your Firefox sync once you do that your at the mercy of the users if they don't logout of that remote Firefox. If Sync password reset doesn't fix or logout the other remote PC - then you will have to physically be present there and to logout of that remote Firefox to prevent their access.

Just to make sure I understand. Logging out a PC from the Firefox account will automatically remove all the sensitive information from there, such as passwords, etc?

You should of course change the password of the Firefox Account to prevent new data syncing to that device if you haven't done this yet.

Thanks! Not quite the answer I was hoping for, but at least I understand the situation now :)
