I am constantly getting a notice at the top of the screen that says "Mozilla is not responding". It all stalls and then eventually, Mozilla apparently starts to respond and it goes to the page I choose. I have kept up with all the updates and am not a huge online person in the first place. Why does this happen? It is so often, I am tempted to change browsers.

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

all web sites. I'll be on one and then click a new tab to open a new site... and it will stall and say that. I'll just click a toolbar icon for a site.. and it will say that. No, not literally every single time, but very often.
