I can't attach files to e-mail using Outlook on a MAC, has something changed?

I have updated, re-booted, and tried everything to attache a file to an out-going e-mail. I need this for my everyday work. I have never had a problem with FireFox in the past. . . . now when I click the attache paperclip, nothing happens. I'm always working in Outlook because that is the company webmail account, and I'm on a MAC
