I am trying to reset my password. When entering my email address to receive a link to reset I never get a reply in my inbox or trash folder..
I don't remember my user name of password so tried to reset my password I don't get an email reply from Firefox although a message says one was sent.

you clearly know your password, you posted to this forum and that is the only password the Mozilla reset page deals with.
If you have mail password issues you will need to reset those on the relevant mail providers web site.
