My Earthlink email will not scroll. I have tried talking to Earthlink, but they say it is probably a browser problem. Here is my conversation with them, so that I don't have to re-type everything.

When I open my Earthlink email in Firefox there is a box at the top that says "Enhanced by Google" and the screen won't scroll. I talked to Earthlink support and they said it's a Firefox problem

Google maps displays a map and then, a few seconds later the map goes black. I found an archive thread called "Google Maps suddenly displaying black" where it is suggested to use ctrl+F5 to bypass the cache. That solution works but then, a few seconds later: Boom, the map goes black.

Seems to me that when the page is refreshed by a script in the map that whatever gets downloaded corrupts the map and then when the refresh occurs, the map goes black.

What ever this "corruption is" Firefox fails to display the content correctly. I have killed my cache, disabled extensions, used troubleshooting mode, switched to the "auto" system theme etc. The key combo is the only way to temporarily recover the map. I should also point out that I see differences in the map UI, it looks like Google updated the UI in maps.

Why is it so difficult for Facebook to function like it does in Chrome. I am a Firefox user on Windows 11. Facebook should function freely and without having to wait for actions to complete. I want Facebook to work normally on Firefox. It should not function like I'm driving a Mack Truck. Firefox, you need to fix this so Facebook functions normally.

Good day. For the last week or so, I've not been able to access my banking website login page. I've tried in Chrome, it works, but I prefer not to use that browser. I can get to the primary website, but when I choose the log in page, I just get a blank page. I've not had this issue before and I've been using Firefox and the same bank for years. After successfully using an AI image generation site (OpenArt.ai) for numerous months, I suddenly stopped being able to successfully upload images from my local hard drive into its image editor. All attempts created an "NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource (storage.googleapis.com)" error. I had made no changes to settings or permissions of any kind, but out of nowhere I cannot use function of that website through Firefox. Onlines searches suggested setting up a local network with Python, which is not something I'm familiar with, or that there were browser extensions identified as "Web Server for Chrome" the "Local File System" extensions, neither of which seemed to come up in browser extension searches through Firefox using those terms. Anybody got a fix easy enough to be walked through without learning new software?

when i go to my website on firefox it says "Secure Connection Failed" but it loads fine on safari. i've never seen it do this before. Is this a firefox issue?

Issue persists on Incognito Mode and it goes away if I use different browser.

Since 2 days issue like this happened and it is retroactive meaning all previous conversations are also blank, all replies of chatgpt are blank except replies with image generation, those are fine.

Before you recommend me to do something please keep in mind that Incognito itself does not help.

I have two browsers installed Firefox and Chrome. Firefox has problems with an ever increasing number of websites (that are switching to Akamai Edgesuite) while Chrome marches on without issues.

I recently discovered the Browser User Agent identification string that is used by the server to determine what browser it is talking to. This is useful for serving content correctly to different types of devices like a phone or PC. You can find your Browser User Agent string here:

So thinking that this might be Firefox's problem I copied the string from my working Chrome installation and added it to Firefox. Unfortunately the issue continues.

So somehow Edgesuite is using something MORE than just the user agent string to kick Firefox to the curb. Does anyone have any clues as to what this might be and how to get Firefox in the good graces of Edgesuite?

How do I resolve scrolling issues (unable to scroll) on many websites. AI recommendations of clearing browsing history and cache have not been effective. Scrolling is possible using Google Chrome.

I tried working with Earthlink support, but cannot get my mouse to work correctly in their webmail. This problem just started a couple weeks ago, and today it will not scroll at all. I opened the webmail in Edge and got it to work. There is a glitch somewhere.
