This is absolutely driving me out of my mind, I no longer have a tiny drag space above my tabs- when I 'customizem toolbar' and try to add a flexible space above them, I can't. The only solution is to constantly have the menu bar turned on, and at that point I'd just opt out of FF. I cannot figure out why this happened, and I cannot seem to fix it- please help me

The autocomplete dropdowns for form fields have recently changed appearance, and I strongly prefer the previous, simple design.

The new version has:

• Clock icons next to autocomplete/history entries
• Much more vertical padding, making the list unnecessarily large
• Rounded "pill-shaped" highlighting when hovering over an entry

The previous autocomplete list was much more compact and clean, without the clock icons, excessive padding or rounded hover backgrounds.

Is there currently a setting, `about:config` preference or other supported way to restore the old autocomplete list appearance?

Ideally, I would like to use the previous style:

• No clock icons
• Compact rows with the previous amount of padding
• No rounded/pill-shaped hover effect
• Otherwise retain the existing autocomplete functionality

If there is no setting to restore the old appearance, could an option be added to allow users to choose between the old and new autocomplete UI?

when I move the mouse to the top of the screen in full screen the bar thing shows up, this has caused issues and I want it to not do that, please tell me how to disable this

I have just reopened my Firefox and have found that recent changes have suddenly put my tabs right at the top of the window - initially very confusing because I feared that I had lost them. I would like to put them back where I find them easier to work with, how can I do that?

August 24, 2026 Sometime during the last month website backgrounds changed to black. I can't see well with black. I did not install colorways. I had things setup as I liked then suddenly everything changed. How do I switch to a lighter background? My desktop background is a custom medium green. I tried enabling a light theme - no success. I've already tried the Windows settings for accessability. All help will be appreciated.

Since Firefox update,it has changed that much on my desktop ,How do I get RID OF Google search Bar from the Toolbar Section it was nver there before & it is a PAIN Thanks Darryl

My menu bar is missing. The instructions I have is to click on the open application menu, go to Customize, at the bottom click on 'Toolbars' and then on the menu bar to make the change. I have searched using obvious words like 'customize', 'toolbar'. and 'menu bar', but all I get is 'Not found'. Am I missing something here?

My FFox browser has been invaded by PINK EVERYWHERE Get rid of it in the browser. The suggestions do not seem to do anything to get rid of this horrible color. TFFox 151.0.2 64

Black and white works fine in Menu Bar and web addresses when you finally get your act together.

I have dark reader installed, it makes every website dark mode quite efficiently.

However, it cannot make *.mozilla.org dark because those are restricted pages that addons cannot modify.

Even though I have enabled "restricted pages" in dark mode, it does not work.

When I try to customize the toolbar in Firefox the the browser goes to the customize toolbar / overflow toolbar page. However the page does not have any of the tools just a white blank screen. I did just relently refresh firefox
