During recent update 148.0 (64-bit) google calendars are not shown either in "Events and Tasks/Calendar" or in "Today's Pane".

Subscribed calendars are still there, but nothing is shown in the days/weeks/months entries apart from the first calendar in the subscription list! Nothing else. And nothing in today's pane.

Reinstalled Thunderbird and reinstalled "Provider for google calendar" but nothing changed.

I am trying to install an add-on to enable the transfer of large email attachments but, having tried to install a "selected" Filelink add-on, I receive a message that it cannot be installed as it is not validated by Mozilla. Please advise which add-on is accepted. Thank you.

I had a great Thunderbird Emoji add-on that is no longer supported. This.

It no longer works on updated Thunderbird, and shows it hasn't been updated since 2022. I'm on Thunderbird 140.11 on my Linux Mint. The image the plugin inserts in message bodies is broken. Is there another/similar add-on?

Suddenly messages have disappeared from all folders; all I see is No messages found.

I tried Repair Folder. It appeared to work, it ran for several minutes on my Inbox, but that didn't help.

I discovered that if I run in Troubleshoot mode that all messages appear, but when I close Thunderbird and relaunch, which opens without Troubleshoot mode, that all messages have again disappeared.

I'm running 128.11.0esr with windows 10.

Hi there, I'm experiencing an issue with the Microsoft Teams add-on in Thunderbird, specifically when using it with multiple Microsoft Exchange accounts.

Issue Description:

Previously, I was able to select between accounts using the Teams icon in the toolbar without any problems. However, after switching operating systems, the behavior has changed:

• When I hover over the Teams icon in the toolbar, the account selection menu appears as expected.
• As soon as I move the mouse to select an account from the menu, the menu disappears immediately before I can click anything.
• I've made sure that the mouse doesn't leave the icon or jump erratically, but the menu still vanishes every time.

This only started happening after I changed my OS. On my previous setup, the add-on worked fine.

Fixes Attempted:

• Removed and re-added the Exchange Accounts
• Reinstalled the Owl for Exchange add-on
• Fully uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird, including manually deleting the profile data folder
• Disabled hardware acceleration

So far, nothing has resolved the issue, and I haven’t found any other reports of this specific behavior online.

The attached image shows the account selection menu when hovering over the teams add-on, but as soon as the mouse moves over to the menu it disappears.

• Thunderbird Version: 139.0.1 (64-bit)
• Operating System: Kubuntu 25.04
• Desktop Environment: KDE Plasma 6.3.4

Hi! I have been using Shrunked Image Resizer's module for a long time (reduces the size of attachments before sending). It's no longer compatible with the new version of Thunderbird (140.1.0). I don't find any alternative module to replace it. What's the solution please?

I'm having a problem moving messages from one folder to another. There's one message which will not move no matter what I do. I'd like to turn off QuickFolders so that I can determine whether it causes the problem. How do I turn QuickFolders off, and then when I'm done with my experiment, turn it back on again?

When composing a message I am getting a pop-spell check window that auto-fills the top (somewhat bizarre) suggestion. This is suboptimal for me, though it might be entertaining to compose auto-suggest random word salad messages from time to time. The heretofore behavior was to red-underline unrecognized words and permit a right-click pop-up selection for correction.

I run an ever longer list of plugins to maintain the core functionality I rely on for messaging and I realize this pop-up could be an artifact of an "upgrade" thought useful by a plugin, but before I go through a day of sequential plugin testing, if someone here knows how to revert this behavior, I'd very much appreciate it:

The insanely disruptive new behavior is the popup offering to correct "things" as "Things" [sic capitalized for some random reason, though I'm quite smitten with "Th�ringens" as a "correction" to "things"]

The good (olde fashionede) spellcheck offers to correct the intentionally misspelled "thinglys" to "thingy" and correctly ignores "things".

Thing (ha) is the not-for-me version and the good-by-me version are both 128.13.0esr (64-bit), both have "enable spellcheck as you type" enabled, both are set to English (United States) (though, oddly, the order of the dictionaries is different), and both run roughly the same set of plugins, both are on Linux, bad-for-me on Ubuntu and good-by-me on Mint.

I checked Advanced Preferences for anything that might be inducing this odd popup and couldn't find anything obvious under "spellcheck" or "suggest."

Hi all:

Before sending an e-mail, I want check that a particular word (like "my secret") is not in the message body.

Is there any way to do this? I couldn't find any add-on to that end.

If there isn't anything like that, is there any add-on (or an easy way) to run a user-defined script before sending an e-mail? I could then try to write some simple JavaScript code in order to search the message body for a number of words I want to be alerted about.

Failing that, I could use an add-on like Keyword Highlight to automatically highlight unwanted words, but that add-on has been abandoned and does not work anymore. Is there anything similar? I am thinking about something like spell checking, but in reverse, where certain words get underlined in red.

Good Afternoon! I am looking at an add on right on the Mozilla site. It's called "Edit Email Subject" (EES). This would allow me to organize my emails better by editing the subject line with more detail. I downloaded it, but Firefox tells me the Add On is not verified and cannot be installed. Yet it is on your site. It appears to be what I need, can you help - either by verifiying help, or (?) or by recommending another suitable add on? Reviews on EES were good, by the way. Help! When I click on the Add-on compatibility check drop down arrow at the top the message box for add-ons is too big on the screen so I can't see the whole list to the bottom of the box and the box isn't resizeable? Anybody know a solution please?

A number of times when I'm answering email and need to check back on the list of emails, I don't see a Tab to take me directly to my list of email accounts (I have 8). A couple of times I've had to shut down T-bird and re-launch it to get back to this list/window. I don't understand why such a Tab isn't available everywhere.

So I'm looking for an add-on which would allow me to add a specific Tab on the T-bird pages where it isn't there, specifically, a Tab to get to the window which has the list of my email accounts.

If there is such a customization, I'd appreciate getting a link to get it.

I am unhappy with version 150 of Thunderbird. In earlier versions, I was able to access the full range of emojis when writing an email. That is no longer possible; I can now only access a few. The integration of add-ons with Thunderbird isn’t working properly. After adding the German dictionary, Thunderbird froze; after adding ImportExport Tools, Thunderbird not only crashed but also wouldn’t start up again.

I am finally making the move to ditch Microsoft Outlook for good and use Thunderbird as my daily driver for all my email needs. One of the things I did appreciate about MS Outlook is that it has a setting where if you've opened up an email and either delete it or move it to a sub-folder, you can set it so that the program will open either the next or the previous email in your list automatically so that you don't have to go back to the main view every time.

I've tried searching the support forums to see if such a feature exists in Thunderbird but I have not yet been lucky in finding any recent information. Does such a feature exist or has someone written an extension that can do this?

I recently added the Send Later add-on, but, when I click on the "Send Later" button, a pop-up briefly appears for a fraction of a second and then disappears. Is there any solution to this? Thank you in advance.
