I have a Dropbox Paper document that I use for my bookmarks. It lists the name of the site (with link attached) and hints as to my username/password for any given site I use.

For years, it has worked just fine, but trying to solve a different problem, something happened (in my settings?) that renders those hyperlinks non-working. When I click on, say Facebook, it formerly took me right to FB. NOW it gives me a weird yellow box in the upper right corner that says "about:blank" in the upper left of the box, and 3 white boxes at the lower right of the yellow box "Allow" "Deny" "Close." If I click on "Allow," I get a blank page. My navigation doesn't seem to recognize the links I've placed in the Doc.

A friend on FB posted a link to a YouTube video and when I clicked on that, I got the yellow box with the proper URL and a white box option to continue. I've tried to recreate that particular box, but, apparently, once it's accepted, it's OK from there on out.

I have tried deleting the link from the Paper Doc and reinstating it, and I still get the yellow box.

What have I done and how the heck do I get rid of that yellow box?

I've used Firefox for many years. The past month or so weather radar doesn't come up on multiple weather sites, pages are slow to load or don't load, getting error codes on video's, pictures don't always load, and many other problems. I uninstalled Firefox and re-installed the current browser and I still have all these problems. I'm having to use another browser now. I run Windows 11 on my PC.

Evil Corp (aka Microsoft) updated my Windows 11 PC from 24H2 to 25H2 and now I cannot access quite a few websites (i.e. Amazon, Bank!, etc.) and some take a long time to load (surprisingly, my Firefox Home page...Google...also takes a while to load) . I searched the internet and found many so called fixes and most are very complicated and many contradict others. A lot of them say to disable DNS and reset network stack (using the command prompt) which I do not know how to do even though I worked in the tech business for 40 yrs (mainly data networking)...I retired 20 yrs ago...so I'm old...so I'm not as savvy with computers as I used to be. I tried changing a few Firefox settings, but nothing worked, so I changed them back to the original settings that worked before the update. If someone could give me detailed (and hopefully simple) instructions to resolve this issue, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm am in a bind, so a timely response would be great. I would like to open attached docs and print them. They are appearing all black with some verbiage, or multiple pages are all white. What is going on? How can I fix this? Step by step instructions, please. Technically challenged. I do NOT use cloud. will not be using it due to privacy and hacking issues. I save everything to my harddrive.
