dunno if this is the right board, but here goes...

I discovered a bug with Firefox and the pen/touchscreen on my lenovo X1 tablet.

Using the touchscreen, move the map, map works as it should. Can pinch to zoom, ect.

Switch to the pen, map works with pen.

Touch the screen again and Google maps doesn't respond to touchscreen anymore, only the pen, and refresh does not fix it. I have to close and re-open maps in a new tab.

In chrome, this does not happen. Only in Firefox.

I know that Google's doing everything to push everyone to use their spy software Chrome, but now youtube is really slow (15 seconds to stop a video when I click on the video, same to start it, 10 seconds to open a new dongle for youtube, and roughly 5 seconds waiting in others services).

Also, some others website work very badly or sometime not working at all with Firefox, why ? I have Ublock on Firefox too

I came back to Firefox for my privacy but if 35% of websites not work with it, not great. Have you an idea how to solve this problem ?

When I open Firefox it opens a maximized window with tabs, then it opens a minimized with a single tab, then it reopens a maximized window with all session tabs. Each window displays in succession, one window at a time.

I'm on desktop using Windows 11.

I just read a post saying this behavior was caused by the resist fingerprinting feature. Can someone explain how that causes the repeated opening of browser window 3 times. Is there a way to retain the anti-fingerprinting behavior w/o the multiple window opening behavior?

I have an "Ad Blocker" problem for years. I read the instructions "Adblck Plus Instructions" I cannot find "Beneath “Block ads on”, click the large blue toggle next to “This website”, no matter what I do. What am I doing wrong?

I have Express VPN and use Firefox as my default browser. This morning I cancelled the autorenewal of Macafe and uninstalled it from my HP Laptop. Now I cannot access the internet if the VPN is activated - using Firefox or Edge. Thank you

Recently, I am unable to open PDF's on Firefox. When I go to another browser and access the same site (such as a bank) I am able to view the PDF. I have tried some of the suggestions regarding extensions etc, but nothing seems to work. Is there a solution? Thanks, SVS

None of my saved passwords in my Mozilla account are showing up when I switch laptops and try to logon to various sites. Instead I have to manually enter the passwords for the sites every time even though the sites show that I have saved passwords for that site in my Mozilla account. When I type the password in a old or new site, Mozilla doesn't even ask if I want to save the password anymore.

Lost Bookmarks after Microsoft upgrade(?) Since I'm using the latest version of Windows I don't know what to call what happened that came by way of Microsoft. So far as I know, I'm the only one reporting this. It would seem that if this was a change initiated by Microsoft it should have affected millions of users.

My facebook account keeps getting double logins and ip4 logins rather than ip6 addresses. I think my ex-employer has installed a certificate into firefox on my laptop. I know absolutely nothing about certificates and have never knowingly installed one into my firefox web browser. But after looking I seem to have a certificate, is this certificate something that is allowing someone else access to what I view on my browser or allowing access to my cookies? Would users normally have their own firefox user certificate installed that they are unable to remove with a year on the date? I have added 2 screenshots. Although listed as one of the options for default language, the current version of Firefox, which is my default browser, does not accept Brazilian Portuguese as the default language. It only accepts the Portuguese version, from Portugal which, to me, who speak Brazilian Portuguese, with all due respect, is a pain in the butt. I have tried, dozens of times, to delete the Portuguese version and set the Brazilian version as the default language. It works until I shut down the computer. The next time I turn on the computer, to my eternal dismay, Firefox cancels my previous language setting and reverts itself to the damn Portuguese version, which I dislike to the extreme.So I am, hereby, taking the issue to you with high hopes that this abdomally be straightened out once and forever. I'm not sure I have the right topic as I didn't see what I will try to say. The problem is when I send an email (googlemail), I cannot insert a photo/picture in the email. The only thing I can do is attach which I do but want it inserted too. This only started happening about 2 weeks ago. It is now to the point where I have to use another browser to get it to work as it should. Any ideas why?

As title. Installed the latest update as soon as i came out. I get the "Welcome to Firefox" tab and the 2nd tab "Firefox Privacy Notice" opened.

The 1st "Welcome" tab, has the box and buttons asking me to import old setting and all that jazz. I have down in quiet a few times and nothing is taken root. I have went through the process of installing all my old addons and extensions, I am not sure how many times, as I use them every time I open my browser to watch Twitch or Youtube, Beyond 20, and what have you. And of course it keeps resetting my toolbar and the bookmarks and settings on my homepage.

I thought at first, it might be buggy and after a day or two it would get fixed an updated. But alas, nothing thus far and this is forcing me to use other craptastic browsers I rather not even have installed on my system.

I have refreshed Firefox a time or two, I uninstalled and reinstalled, but I am afraid to completely wipe it out, as I do not want to lose my bookmarks, passwords, and other saved information, that I probably should not have saved but I do because my memory is "teh suck".

I would appreciate any insight on how tor resolve this issue.

When I open Robert Reich's substack article of the day, I'm finding that whenever the comments, the word "Trump" is replaced by "Mr. Bully". One can see the original by opening repost. If it is one of my own comments I can open Edit and see the original. I asked Substack support about it and they say it isn't them and to check with my browser. OK, Firefox, is this a new "feature" of Firefox or someone hacking Firefox. Would you please look into this for me.

I have downloaded the mozilla extension " screen recorder". After giving all permissions , the logo of this extension is not showing on my screen .SO, I am not able to use this extension facility. Please solve it. And also I have been blocked for accessing this extension owner' s website. THANK YOU. OM PRAKASH GUPTA
