I used to have an occasional sound problem with FF, usually felt when YT clips could not be heard any more. I mean to remember that it could be fixed (until next time) by restarting the file explorer somewhere in Task Manager - not a convincing solution but one I could live with.

Today, there's a new situation. Again, trigger was the missing YT sound in FF - not in fx Edge, and that the Task Manager trick didn't work (or maybe I restarted the file manager in the wrong tab?). Looking for a solution, I happened to see that the YT mute function in the FF tabs seems to be gone. However, other sounds are affected likewise. Also, I can't see them in Edge either. After various restarts (or maybe something else I did, instigated by the various instructions I found?), the sound is back.

However, while continuing to pursue possible solutions, I also happened to find that my browser is being 'administered by my organisation' - what ever that means (see two annexes). Who did that? I would say, this is not something I did, I would prefer to see it gone. But how? Will the other browsers (which I keep as a spare, and that I'm hardly familiar with) be likewise affected?

This is an equation with too many unknowns for my limited knowledge, are such effects known? Would there be an approved way-out for it?

Is anyone else having issues with some pages refusing to load over the last few days. My Gmail account and my Bank of America page became intermittent over the last few days and now simply refuse to load. Both readily load on my Android phone and also load on the computer in question with Microsoft Edge. Has there been an update I missed or any other issue with such pages suddenly becoming incompatible with Firefox?

When I send an article using the blue plus button and choose gmail my display name is my wife's rather than my own. This doesn't happen if I use Chrome. Since I prefer Firefox I would like to know how to fix this.

I am trying to sign-in to a site we use and when you hot sign-in the page goes blank white??

The site works on Microsoft Edge so I know its noit the site.

Please advise.

I cannot load certain webpages including gmail and various others frequently used suddenly without any changes made on my end. It just doesnt finish loading the page but I can access all of the pages on any other web browser just not firefox anymore. I deleted the cache of cookies and that's about it as I am not tech savvy at all and have set up nothing personalized or special. Please help I have literally no recourse at all here.

Since 2 hours ago the following site has stopped working correctly in Firefox. It was loading normally in the morning(3+ hours ago) but now it does not load any maps etc. It's a weather satellite site. It works normally in Chrome, and Opera and Edge. But not in Firefox(I have the latest update). I have cleared cache for this, I have tried everything but it does not load the maps.

Does it work for you?

The problem is that when I tried opening gmail in my ubuntu, it is stuck at loading page, but other browsers like edge can open it without any problem (on the same system).

I tried every thing I can in the support forum of gmail/mozilla/others, but it's still stuck at loading.

I can't seem to be able to log into my Help Scout account. When I go to the site, it won't show the 'username' and 'password' fields to enter the data. See picture. It should be on the left where it's all blank. I was able to log in on other browsers, but it won't allow me to do it in Firefox.

Can you help?

This appears to be a Firefox issue because this only happens in Firefox. I have 2 Microsoft accounts. I am logged in to my Windows 11 computer with my primary Microsoft account. I can log in to my secondary Microsoft account on Edge (Windows), Chrome (Windows), Safari (on iPhone), but not when using Firefox. I can log in to my primary Microsoft account on Firefox.

Both primary and secondary Microsoft accounts require phishing resistant MFA - physical security key, or passkey via authenticator app on mobile phone - of which I have both set up for my secondary account to try to resolve this issue.

When I log in to office.com on Firefox using my secondary account I receive a message that says, "We couldn't sign you in. If you're using a passkey from another mobile device, make sure Bluetooth is turned on for both devices."

I've got bluetooth turned on for both devices, I've even connected both devices via bluetooth but this doesn't help. I've tried clicking the option to "Other ways to sign in" but it doesn't give me a choice of whether I want to use my security key, or my iPhone passkey.

Alternatively on my primary account, I get the option to use my security key, my iPhone device, or even the pin through Windows Hello, and they all work.

Again, this failure on my secondary account only happens in Firefox, no other browser has the same behavior. I know I can use Chrome or Edge instead of Firefox, but I prefer Firefox so I want to resolve this. Firefox is up to date 136.0.1

SUDDENLY FIREFOX DOESN'T OPEN A WEBSITE I REGULARLY HAD ACCESS TO....WHY??

THIS HAPPENS QUITE OFTEN, AND THEN AM FORCED TO USE CHROME...IT'S STARTING TO GET VERY ANNOYING.

Suddenly Citi Bank won't let me make payment via Firefox browser, say I have to use Chrome or the MS They say it's Firefox issue not theirs. I don't want to use any other browser. I've always made payments to my banks on the private browser Firefox. Suddenly cannoit.

This morning I went to check my email on gmail, and google asked me to sign in again. Easy, I thought. I entered my account, and then google asked for my passkey. Until this morning this meant that on my mac it would ask me to place my finger on the right key on the keyboard. This morning it just froze firefox indefinitely. I then tried on Safari, and it worked as expected. I checked the version of firefox: it's 136.0.1. Obviously something changed (i.e. broke!) with the new version. Has anybody else experienced this? Any suggested fixes?

I found that my Figma prototype works in all other broswers, but appears mangled in Firefox. I've restarted and tried troubleshoot mode, but issue remains. See attached screen shots for ramdom background color for text blocks.

Websites such as the Sites above are not working in Firefox or other Open Source Browsers. I am being forced to use Chromium in this case to complete payments and add items to the DMV Cart and complete a payment for example. I do not want to have to do this. I do not want to be forced to use a Closed Source Browser such as Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome or Apple Safari. Or, Even the Open Source version of Google Chrome Chromium. Companies like PGE are deciding to drop support for Firefox as the State not enough users use Firefox. They are forcing the market to use a Non Open Source Browser. This is a Problem. This is not good for Competition and the Internet as a whole. Not good for me as I am a Linux User. The PG&E website does not even load when using Firefox. The DMV site loads but does not allow one to complete any Payments for Example. At this time one can only view Information on the DMV website.

Ever since I updated last week, one website that I use will not work. Whenever I try to log in to the M&T Online Banking website, it blocks me and says "M&T Online Banking Is Temporarily Unavailable." The app works on my phone and I can log in through Chrome, it's only on Firefox that I'm getting this problem. I called M&T Bank and they confirmed that it's a problem with Firefox. Something is blocking me but I don't know what it is. I am not using a VPN or adblocker.

I have loaded Messenger onto my new computer as well as Firefox. When I go to Messenger the Voice and Video icons at the top right are greyed and when hovering over the icons, I get a message that video calling etc is not supported. i had no trouble on my other computer but am not sure how to activate the video and voice options. I have recently updated my Windows 10 machine to Windows 11. I went to Microsoft.com and clicked Sign In to log into my account but the page will act like you're hitting the TAB button on the keyboard over and over and also hitting enter. Since it tabs through the hyperlinks on the website and acts like I'm hitting ENTER it opens a new window/tab to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/servicesagreement/. If you have pop up blockers on it will keep blocking the page while tabbing through all the hyperlinks on the page. I have recreated this issue in both the Firefox standard download version(Currently on 136.0 64 bit) and in the Microsoft Store windows app version of Firefox. I have tried clearing my cache/cookies and Private browsing as well to help keep some weird data sync from occurring. I checked my SSO settings in windows and don't have anything that would cause it to try and auto-login with that either. The "Allow Windows single sign-on for Microsoft, work, and school accounts" is not enabled. I noticed this ONLY happens when you try to login to Microsoft with the login.live.com link instead of the login.microsoftonline.com link. I tried recreating this on my phone on Firefox for Android and it does not happen. Chrome and Edge do not have the issue either. I did not have this issue on Windows 10. I have not tried uninstalling the browser since the Microsoft/Windows App version of Firefox had the issue and I had never downloaded/installed that version before. I did not log into my Mozilla account on that version either to try and help figure out if this was an account data problem. I tried to report this on the report a bug but the bot auto closed my bug report. If anyone could help I would appreciate it. Really don't want to switch over to another browser for such a small problem like this. I can't add any image since the page constantly opens a new window/changes. Thanks!
