Subject says it all. First notice of the problem was when I couldn't send tabs to my mini so I logged out of sync on that computer and tried to log back in. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Themes NOT syncing

My Sync is set for Add-ons (which Themes is a part of), Bookmarks, Options, across (5) Windows 10 laptops and (1) Windows XP SP3 desktop. Everything syncs perfectly in a… (read more)

My Sync is set for Add-ons (which Themes is a part of), Bookmarks, Options, across (5) Windows 10 laptops and (1) Windows XP SP3 desktop. Everything syncs perfectly in all of the devices except Themes. There is one same theme for all of the devices. However, the theme in the Windows XP SP3 desktop CANNOT be changed because none of the currently available themes function in Firefox 52.9, the last version that works with Windows XP SP3. Is this preventing Themes from syncing in the Windows 10 devices? I presently change to one same theme manually in each of the Windows 10 devices, but I am looking for a workaround to make Themes sync in the Windows 10 devices.

Hello,

IT support wiped my browser history on Laptop A. I also have Laptop B, which hasn't been used in a couple of weeks, and which is connected to Laptop A through Sync. Ideally I'd like to import the history from Laptop B to Laptop A, as this would be an almost total restore.

Laptop A losing its history is the most recent activity though, and I'm worried that as soon as I open Firefox on Laptop B, Sync will overwrite B's history with the (now blank) history from A.

So, is it possible to get B's data onto A through Sync, without A wiping B? Can I generate a backup from B through other means without Sync overwriting it?

On https://accounts.firefox.com/settings/clients?context=fx_desktop_v3&entrypoint=syncedtabs-menupanel I see a very long list of devices connected to my Firefox account. There's 97 of them.

How can I do disconnect from many devices at one time? Disconnecting one by one takes a long time.

I am running Firefox on my Windows 10 desktop, where I have many bookmarks. I am now also using Firefox on a laptop running Linux (Kubuntu) and would like to sync it with the desktop, so that all my bookmarks are available on the Linux laptop. I have set up Sync settings, and clicked on Sync Now; then when I hover mouse on the Sync Now button it says "Last sync: 5 seconds ago". But nothing changes on the laptop -- no added bookmarks. I must be missing something, can you help? Many thanks.

I,am unable to login to my Firefox sync. I had a different Email, then I updated with a new one Now whenever I try to login to my account with a new Email, next page show me my old Email and the code that I get in my inbox doesn't accept it. After few attempts, with old and new Email, I get locked out for 10 minutes. All my bookmarks and saved logins are in there, without it I'm lost.

I am posting this question to offer a solution to the problem I experienced. My firefox bookmarks were not immediately syncing across accounts. Once I added a new bookmark on the browser that was not showing the bookmarks the synced bookmarks appeared. This may offer a solution to other users.

I can connect to this support using the account, but not using sync on my devices.

My mail is a valid email address, and there was some temporary problem with the mail server which explains why the mail was returned.

What can I do to get back my account? The « let us know » link leads me here.

So, will Firefox Sync work with this mix?

Sync won't install. I've tried several times on both XP and Vista machines, and after install/restart - nothing. No desktop icon, no screen prompts - its like nothing happened. Feels like a waste of time!

How much more detail can I add? I've got Firefox 3.6.8; I've tried to set up Home - but similar experience. I re-open Firefox and everything is exactly as it was. I've downloaded to both my XP desktop (and was charged $1 by iTunes for Sync, even though it's shown as 'Free'!), and - nothing. The download process looked OK, but after re-start, there were no on-screen prompts on restart, no desktop icon, nothing - not even a saved file in 'downloads' - my default location. I'm in the UAE, btw.
