I do not want this new feature where a small preview window pops up on the tabs as you hover over them. So where is the feature to turn it off? There isn't one? Why not? I do not want this!

I am using latest firefox developer edition. After firefox updated automatically, I found that I lost toolbar customization settings. I reconfigured everything, but the next day when it updates I lost the settings again. It seems that there is a bug in Firefox. How can I fix this? If this is a bug, when will it be fixed?

When I try to log-in on a website using google it tries to open a pop-up windows but it instantly gets closed. I have disabled all my adblockers and the pop-up blocking in the settings. When i try to do it the console says "Failed to open popup window on url: (the url) Maybe blocked by the browser?"

I am trying to re-enable sofascore notifications but in permission panel just seems cookies not notification permissions. I tried to forgot site and delete cookies but it didn't work. How can i solve this?

I'm running Firefox 130.0.1 (64-bit) and noticed when I read a foreign-language wikipedia article, I do not get the translation icon in the right end of the menu bar. All I see is the "Toggle reader view" icon and the "Bookmark this page icon." I can't figure out where it went. I saw another thread that asked people to check their General settings and "choose your preferred language for displaying pages" option, but it's already set to English (US).

As you can see from the screenshot i provided and as you can read from subject of this very annoying issue Firefox new 130 update has changed my URL bar and now stuff are missing to the point that links to Outlook and some other stuff that were in address bar URL because i wanted them there and now they place has been taken by namely foxovizija.blogspot.com and watchonlyfoolsandhorses.com and ajax.nl/shop just because i watched few episodes of fools and horses on that link same goes for foxovizija and browsed some items in ajax fan shop! I WANT DOES LINK GONE FROM MY URL so i can put links that i want to be in there and FF 130 address bar being populated by only the links i want to be there and stay that way! and one more thing i want to get rid of that ugly search with google thing because i don't even use google,further more once all of a sudden in FF 130 MY BROWSER IS MANAGED BY MY ORGANIZATION ? That was never there before this update ,so with all that has been said and screenshot as proof i beg you and plea on your kindness and knowledge to give me guidance how to fix this URL thing first,then how to remove THIS BROWSER IS MANAGED BY YOUR ORGANIZATION and last but not least how to block further FF updates because every new update is worse then the next and just keep pushing the whole browser down the drain ! I reinstalled windows 10 and this is my second laptop that microsoft seems to have locked the sound use on any other browser than microsoft edge, sound works perfectly on microsoft edge but will not work on any other browser, has anybody else had this issue, i have contacted Mozilla before but nobody answers. thankyou

hey, I love Firefox and use it as my main web browser. But new tab audio indicator icon is too ugly for my taste. I can't believe this icon design is in 2024. I just can't stand it. How can I hide this ugly audio indicator? Please help.

How to make links/search/suggestions opened in new tab (middle click) from the URL/Search bar to open in background and not switch immediately.

I already toggled the following settings to "true" - browser.search.context.loadInBackground - browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground - browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground - browser.tabs.loadInBackground

Background new tabs only works for links in the page & bookmark bar. I would like to know how to make it work if links are opened in new tab from the URL/search bar.

I would like to have different default search engines for the URL bar and the search bar. For example have a query typed in the URL bar use DuckDuckGo by default. But a query in the search bar use Google by default. I am aware that it's possible to use shortcut strings, use alt+arrows to cycle through the options, or select a different search engine from the icons. I'd like to be able to set them differently without any of that.

Why isn't GoodSearch listed as a default search option? It's available on Chrome and Edge, which are obviously inferior browsers, but they get the search options right. Why can't YOU???????

I have a closed Ubuntu installation I use to clone and quickly setup a VM. The closed system uses a proxy with restricted access to the internet, as such I would like to give it systemwide settings that will effect new and existing users.

I have attempted to use /etc/firefox/syspref.js, and apturl.js in /etc/firefox/pref/apturl.js. I have setting in EnvVars for HTTPS_PROXY and HTTP_PROXY pointing at the proxy http://proxy:8080. It seems by default firefox does not look at that.

Secondly I wanted to turn off the site warnings for intranet sites using the following options: pref("security.insecure_field_warning.contextual.enabled,false") pref("security.certerrors.permanentOverride,false") pref("network.stricttransportsecurity.preloadlist,false") pref("security.enterprise_roots.enabled,true")

Seeing as nothing I try seems to be working, and the potentials solutions were for older versions, is there a way I can do this?

Hey guys, as the title states I Can’t find any setting to set a default camera or microphone across the whole browser.

Firefox automatically chooses the wrong ones when I live stream. Former chrome user and all chromium based browsers allow you to set a default camera and microphone from a list of the available ones for the browser to automatically choose every time a site accesses them.
I just want to set it to always automatically use my obs virtual camera and always automatically choose my virtual audio cable, persistently. Is there truly no way to adjust this? It is such a basic setting that’s been around forever on the other side. Is there at least some complicated hidden way to adjust this?

Hi, i want to change my search language to US English but it keeps the BR Portuguese language on my search engine for Firefox (Google). Any way to help? Only Firefox itself changes the language.

Not long ago all my search results (Google is my default search engine) using Version 130.0.1 (64-bit) came up in English - as they should.

Then all of a sudden, all my search results came up in French. I never twerked with any of the settings to change it. When I type in the search bar all results are in French plus I get a pop-up window

When clicking to change to English I am taken to Google Search settings and am taken to page with Activity, Content, More options b Clicking under More Options the Google account settings I'm taken to the Google Account Home Settings page. Clicking on the Paramètres de langue (Language parameters) => Paramètres de recherche Langue et région (Language and region) I click on English. Works fine then .....bold text until next time I start up my PC.

bold text i can't scroll to the right in my inbox in gmail, nor can i make the different panes less wider, i can't get a bottom scroll bar either. what should i do? the text is already below 90% zoom and i'm having trouble seeing it that small, and then the things i want the size bigger doesn't apply to the section of the page that is needed. please help this layman person out. and thank you for your time and patience with me and this matter whether i understand it or not. bold text

since some updates the video display in full screen mode darkens my second screen. but i still want to be able to watch videos in full screen mode on both screens. how do i set this?
