MacOS Ventura 13.7.8.

I am trying to switch from DuckDuckGo to Firefox browsers.

Firefox is not remembering and auto-filling passwords.

I appear to have all the proper checkboxes checked in Settings.

I exported 1260 passwords from DuckDuckGo. Upon importing the resulting .CSV file (which contains hundreds of passwords), Firefox reports ZERO imports!

I can edit the .CSV file as necessary, but Settings help does not document the required schema.

So how can I import my passwords from DuckDuckGo, which appears to be a Firefox fork?

Based on my settings, is there some reason Firefox is not remembering passwords I've entered? I've been using it for a couple weeks, and have manually entered MANY passwords, but it shows only one, from way before I started using it! If I try to delete passwords, it asks if I want to delete "167 passwords", but when I ask to see them, it shows only that old one.

I did use Firefox years ago; is there some preference file I should delete to make password-filling work again?

I'm fairly computer savvy, but this is becoming frustrating!

I use Best Homepage Ever and I am logged out every time I close my browser and have to resign back in when I open it up again. Can't find anything in help articles to solve this.

For some reason when I logged into my mozilla account after switching from windows to pop-os none of the passwords I had synced show up. One of the sites I had saved requires the username and email to reset the password, but I have no idea what the username was.. any thoughts?

latest version of firefox will not let me save a password on a new website, it has always worked before, see image for settings. website is not included in exceptions

how to save my passwords? Like gmail, and facebook, and other sites? When i use Safari the passwords are automaticaly saved. In Safari I don't need an special configuration,but in firefox all of my passwords are Lost. How i do in a correct way?

I have been using Private Browsing to read https://www.dailymail.co.uk for years because it blocks the adds. Now for the second time in years it seems to block a part of the page I don't want it too block. And for the life of me I cant remember if I did something to fix it the first time or Mozilla fixed it. Anyway the problem does not show up in ordinary Firefox but the adds make it so hard to concentrate while they keep flashing on and off all the time. So I have attached two screen shots to show the difference between the two Ordinary & Private. Any ideas very welcome. Thanks. I am using Firefox Nightly 136.0a1. I tried visiting the website "leetcode.cn", but it got stuck in an infinite refresh loop. It has been tested that the site can be visited using Edge. I have tried using troubleshoot mode or change my UA, but it just doesn't work.

You managed to change my password for accessing AMAZON to a very long password that has never worked so far for the last two months! So, I have been denied a site I use to use regularly and you still deny a human to ask for help, only your jog-related jargon!

I would hate to sue you but AMAZON may help me when they hear what you've done to me, and perhaps hundreds of other former customers.

So, help me get back to AMAZON today!
