Following the latest firefox update ,Jan 2020 my browser has practically stopped. I have used firefox for many years and have had no issues whatsoever. I have not added any extensions etc. To firefox in at least a year, or changed my antivirus. I have read that there was a high security update/patch very recently which I believe can slow firefox down, but I cannot work with the current speed. It is so bad I have had to use Microsoft edge! Can anyone help to get me back onto firefox? Many thanks, Paul

I'm using FF 89.0.2 on MacOS and I want to authenticate my user with a certificate. To that purpose, I imported the certificate (Certificate Manager / Import / ) and I can see it. However, when I make my request to the site, the authentication fails as if the certificate is not transferred in the request. Any suggestion of what is going wrong? Thanks - C

Can't discern if a Firefox or Windows problem. My screen is stuck between two black walls and I can't figure out how to get out. It doesn't allow me to expand the screen or change browsers from the home screen. I sure hope you can help!!! Thanks!!!

My Canon Printer TS55055, refuse to work with my PC ASUS Intel Inside Core13 Window 7, Nvidia. Each times, when I want to print something I get this message "Your printer is not connected" Each times, I try to to connecte it, very rarely I succed, but the day after It starts again and again. It's stressing, because when I need to print, it's always a mess ! ! ! What can I do Please ! an answer in french will be appreciatable for me.

Hi all!

I started using Firefox a few months ago to try and get away from Chrome (great move!). I use it a lot for work, but also a fair amount for personal use. Is it possible to create different ‘profiles’ on your account?

For example, I would like to use the Sync feature to sync my work Bookmarks to my phone and PC, but I want to keep those separate from my personal ones. Allowing Firefox to toggle between a work profile and personal profile would help this out.

I’m using Firefox for PC and iOS.

I am in another time in short time with same problems. Firefox don´t want to start any downloads. It can be small file in pdf, install files or larger files. In all cases it failed. I can not hear any sound in Firefox as printing is impossible. Exactly same operations in Edge browser working just normal. There I can dowload, listen music or hearing other sounds, as downloading is working normal.

I restored PC to early date but improvment isn´t done, so I am same trouble

This past week I have noticed while using google workspace it seems as firefox will time out. This causes my gmail to show errors because it is not connected any longer. It also seems that when this does happen I can't do anything through the firefox browser such as search or browse the internet until I completely close and re-open firefox. I would like to know what I can do to resolve this issue. I have refreshed, uninstalled and reinstalled, and tried about:config settings that handle "timeouts". Please I need assistance asap with this issue.

Hi, I was trying to access a webpage, but the browser would refuse to load it. Although I have checked my internet connection and cleared cache, but the same issue popped up again.

Hello, since one week it is impossible for me to login at amazon.de from my Windows Laptop with WLAN Connection. After entering my Username and password, i do not come it at amazon.de. I have to connect my laptop via network cable with the router. Then it works. What can i do, that it works again with WLAN ? I have an Apple Tablet to and from there the login works. So i think the reason for my problem is not at amazon.de ? Sorry for my unprofessional english :-) Is there anyone who has an idea? V.

I've been installing themes on Firefox and noticed that some of the themes cause a white line to show up below the open tabs (as shown in the screenshot attached). I'd really like to use some of these themes, but the white line just looks really ugly. Thanks for any help.

I have been trying for hours to get Firefox to allow me to use my webcam in the browser but I have uninstalled my browser, factory reset my laptop, removed my antivirus, gone in the website to allow, tried to find a suss certificate (which I don't want to go deleting anyway because I don't want to delete the wrong thing).

If someone can help me it will be appreciated. If you are going to go into registry keys etc please be clear in your instructions how to get there and fix it because whilst I'm not novice I have autism so my understanding might not be the same as an it person. Thanks

I use Firefox on a few devices, one of them being Mac connected to a projector. When I share tabs (url) from any device to the Mac, it receives it, loads it on a new tab to the right of the active tab, but it doesn't switch to it automatically. The tab shows a blue dot until I manually click on it.

Is there a way to auto switch the tab that was just received?

This is not related to the "When I Open a Link in a New Tab, Switch to it Immediately" option in preferences, which only changes the behavior of links opened on the same machine, but not the ones sent from another device.

I want to achieve this mainly to automatically play YouTube videos on the projector, but also other pages that I would like to see on the big screen without having to reach the mouse on the mac.

I guess this should be supported natively, but looking at the about:config I couldn't find anything obvious. I only wan to use third party extensions as a last option.

My title bar has a weird symbol in front of where it says Mozilla Firefox

Long time ago I had this email let's say x@yahoo.com after some years i delete and made a new one x@gmail.com. On my PC every time I try to log in it goes like this: I put my x@gmail.com i put my password and it sends me a code on the same Gmail address... Very simple right? I put my verification code in and it says wrong password for email x@YAHOO.com... WHY DOES IT CHANGE MY EMAIL FROM GMAIL TO YAHOO ? I'M LOSING MY MIND I CAN'T LOG IN ON FRESH WINDOWS INSTALL!!!! I even reinstalled Mozilla, I've cleaned everything there is too be cleaned from the browser and same stupid "feature". Whyyyyyyyy????

Mozilla has alerted me that my WATTPAD account was breached and my info stolen. I am having difficulty finding WATTPAD on my computer so that I can PERMANENTLY DELETE WATTPAD altogether! I am an elderly tech novice and would truly appreciate your assistance in getting this trash off my computer! Permanently!
