Frequently when I update Firefox something stops working the way I want it to. So after the last update I disabled updates. That was a while ago (version 89) and my browser was getting pretty stale. So I backed everything up, reenabled updates, and now I have version 104.

And, of course, something is broken now. The context menus when I right click are not functioning as before. The userChrome.css is still there in the chrome folder in my profile and has the same contents. The option toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets is set to true. But it doesn't work anymore. I added a line to change the color of the tab toolbar and that worked. So userChrome.css is being read and acted upon. But the other command (I whittled it down to just one additional command for testing) is ignored.

Here is what my userChrome.css looks like right now:

@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul");

1. context-openlinkintab { display:none!important; }
2. TabsToolbar{ background-color: #CCCCCC !important }

But the "Open Link in New Tab" still appears in the context menu when I right click a link. It didn't do this before the upgrade to 104. Did something break in between version 89 and 104 or is it some other oddity?

The photos page in OneDrive is having trouble loading most of the time. The page has the OneDrive header, and the section where the photos should show up is simply blank. Screenshot attached.

This is working fine on Google Chrome, but I would prefer not to use chrome for privacy reasons.

Can anyone help me with this?

I had several windows open in Firefox. These have disappeared but I'm not sure exactly when it happened.

'Restore the previous session' does not help as it only restores a single window. I need to go back in history (I have backups so can refer to older files if needed). I have checked 'session-store.backups' and have several .jsonlz4 files, ranging from early October to late October. The older versions are much larger.

Do these files contain my older session data? If yes, how do I load them to get the relevant session windows? I am not worried about losing any data since that time.

Google Calendar and a few other websites do not render symbols correctly. Please see attached. What should be displayed instead of letters are symbols such as > or ^. I've tried updating FF (103.0.2), ran in Safe Mode, disabled extensions, and nothing has helped. I'd like to keep using FF instead of Safari (running MacOS Monterey 12.5.1), but this is annoying.

Any ideas?

Hi! I recently made the switch from Chrome to Firefox and Im liking it aside from this one thing. When Im watching a video in full screen, moving the cursor to the top doesnt pop up Macs top bar (File, Edit, ..... battery, time).

This sounds like a banality but I mainly watch videos while getting ready, working etc, and I really need to see the time! Im used to always keeping the cursor at the top to see it. I searched around in settings and forums but didnt find any fix. The only solution seems to be to not use full screen which I think we can all agree just sucks in a major way.

Im using MacOS Monterey 12.3.1 and Firefox 102.0.1. Is there a way to fix this or nah? Any info much appreciated!

Hello, I am a user on Mac! I am having an issue with moving tabs fluidly. Yes, moving tabs inside the window is easy but when I move them outside the window, it makes me a little uncomfortable. In the images and video I have sent, you can see that an unnecessary thumbnail of the tab pops up even when I move the tabs inside the window. This makes it harder to know if I am even moving the tab in the first place. Then it takes like 2-5 seconds for the new window of the individual tab I moved to appear. If whatever I said is quite confusing which I apologize for, I would very much recommend taking a look at Google Chrome, the browser I don't prefer, however, try moving the tabs around and outside one window and creating more windows with individual tabs. It feels more fluid or swift and easy to handle. Compare that to Firefox and a big difference is to be seen. I am concerned about this issue really because I am replacing my previous browsers, not only Google Chrome but browsers like Edge too which are capable of not having that issue, with Firefox instead and hopefully Firefox can have this capability. I also multitask a lot so I usually encounter this problem on Firefox. I hope this is fixed and am sure it will help a lot of users! Thank you! I don't understand why FitnessBlender.com looks all out of wack, it has been like this for as long as I can remember. Font is all crazy and overlapping, hard to even navigate the page. Have also noticed FF is loading everything slowly lately especially FB, which eventually stops loading as you scroll through the feed. I have cleared my caches etc to speed it up but has gone back to being slow. I have loved the concepts available with FF and hate to stop using it but it has become annoying.

My extensions take up a lot of space in my toolbar and I'd love to hide all of them. However - every 'solution' to the problem tells me to right click the extension straight from the toolbar and click 'Hide from Toolbar'.

I do remember this option existing, however I couldn't find it since last update and I'm assuming it was removed. Is there any way to use it again?

^ (Small note, It would also be lovely if I could add them to the Extensions add-on in the toolbar, as that would really be a better use for it other than overflow)

When I connect to my home router via HTTPS I get a popup with the message “Invalid Encryption Key”. I tried using other installations of Firefox and I don't get this pop up. I then made a new Firefox profile on the same computer and did not get the popup. So it seemed like a Firefox "refresh" would be in order. But after the refresh the problem persists.

So how do I resolve this issue?

I am trying to set youtube to always open in Youtube container , when i right click on the logo or name of the container it doesn't do anything , at previous version was fine , is there any issue with current version ? is there another way to enable youtube to open always in it's own container ?

Even though I have removed the cookies for Facebook, the Manage Cookies screen shows a HUGE storage space. FF v99.0 on Mac

almost all are Facebook storage. I'm feeling a little reluctant to delete all site data. If I clear all cookies and site data will that fix the issue? will the issue re-occur?

i own a macbook and have recently switched from chrome to firefox- in my mac settings, it hasnt given firefox the permissions to use my microphone or camera. it doesnt show up the usual list to be able to allow the permissions. i've enabled microphone and camera permissions for the websites i want through firefox, but i cant even unmute myself. i think i need firefox to give me a popup and ask for microphone permissions, but it hasnt done that- and even if it did, i think it would show up in the list for allowing permissions through my mac settings (it shows applications that have requested for microphone access).

Is there a way to stop the download window opening everytime I download something? Never happened before. It's really annoying as I download a lot and the window will cover a lot of the site I'm downloading from.

Is it possible to move the address bar above or below the Bookmarks Toolbar in Firefox 100.0 (64 bit). If not, can you provide a link to the latest version of Firefox for Mac OS X Catalina (10.15.7) that does not have the address bar on the same level as the Bookmarks Toolbar.
