Hello, for some time now I've been experiencing a number of problems with the latest Firefox updates.

Today I have version 152.0 (64-bit), which was updated again this morning. I restarted my mid-2015 MacBook Pro Retina. I have fiber optic internet, which is very high speed.

I've been using Firefox for over two years.

1) For the past eight days, I've been experiencing many problems with Google Meet; I get freezes, audio and video dropouts...

2) For the past three days, I haven't been able to log in to this website: https://creators.spotify.com/pod/login

3) For about ten days, I've been having trouble logging into my Stripe dashboard, with significant slowness and/or crashes.

4) In Notion, I'm also experiencing significant slowness, with pages taking a long time to load.

In short, several problems that I didn't have at all a month ago or before.

But now it's a nightmare.

I don't have any of these problems in Safari or Google Chrome.

So what's going on in Firefox?

Why is it such a hassle?

I use WhatsApp web with Firefox 151.0.3 on a Macbook Air. In WhatsApp web, you should be able to emoji over a message sent by someone else. One clicks on the smile icon at the side of the message, the emoji pallet appear above and select one of a handful of emojis. Since a recent update, the pallet no longer opens. It's just white space, the cursor does not change allowing you to pick one of the emojis. See screenshot. Is there a fix for this please?

I just noticed that post FF's 150 update, I can no longer drag and drop folders into my DSM window. This has been a non issue for over 6 years and all of a sudden, poof. I did find that you can still to this on Safari, but long term, Mozilla and Synology need to address this. There's already a post on the Synology fourms about it and I've emailed their Support Team to see what they have to day. Posting this here in case anyone has found a workaround in the Config settings pane.

My stockbroker has commented as follows, after I complained of a problem with getting their website to operate correctly:"’m informed that most browsers use a common "engine" called Chromium, which was created by Google and is effectively Chrome. So no matter what browser you are using, if it's powered by Chromium you're effectively using Chrome, and our website/charts should work as designed. Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet, and Opera all fall into this category. However, I’m afraid that Firefox does not."

I can't sign into my RBS Digital Banking page using Firefox. The display flips back and forth uncontrollably from Login page to Are You still Here? page. Login via Safari is as normal .. but Firefox is my preferred browser.

For the past few days when trying to use Google search on Firefox I get this message:

"Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot. Why did this happen?"

Then it makes me jump through several hoops to do a search on google.

This is a Firefox specific message as I can switch to Safari and there is no roadblock.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Any way to resolve?

Why this is a Firefox issue and not other browsers?

eg https://transportnsw.info/opal-view/#/account/cards is meant to show down arrow next to name - does not appear; go to Profile, Edit address - 'Save as delivery address' checkbox and Submit button do not work. Also had this on the StGeorge bank page https://www.ui.stgeorge.com.au/resolve/etb0/createCustComplaint - Next button does not work. other sites as well have buttons not working (about 20% of sites?) (Sorry both the above examples need accounts to test). Often (not always) if I open the page with Chrome it works. I think they were working ok after macOS update but after a Firefox update went to a very light screen - problem started then.

Also - using about:support the copy raw data button works; the copy text button does not.

After last mac update i have not been able to get onto my Farmille2 game ive been using firefox on my macbook air no matter what I have tried hasn't worked going directly to zynga just brings up chrome info which doesnt work can you please help ?

All of a sudden, I cannot open my Comcast Xfinity email. I don't have the issue using Safari or Chrome. I have never had the issue with irefox until now.

Many URLs and hosts automatically reload pages. For example, when I am reading a multi-page article and am several pages in, the page often reloads and I have to start all over again and try find the place where I left off reading. "Stop Auto Reload" is a Firefox extension that is supposed to allow the user to stop the auto-reloading that many URLs and hosts execute, but it does not always work. It seems to work on some sites, but not on others. I have not found any other extensions so far that address this. Any assistance with this problem is greatly appreciated. -Neil

Hi, for the past month or so I'm not able to reply to emails using Apple Mail on Fire Fox browser. The arrow gets cut off in the upper right hand corner. Also I'm not able to move emails into their appropriate folders by selecting the folder icon in the top middle of the screen.

I am reporting a performance issue specifically related to Google Search's AI features (AI Overviews) in Firefox 149.0.2 on macOS.

The Issue: When an AI-generated summary appears in Google Search results, GPU usage spikes significantly, reaching up to 212%. This causes the laptop to overheat and triggers high fan speeds.

Critical Comparison:

Firefox 149.0.2: Extreme GPU load and performance degradation when rendering Google AI elements.

Google Chrome 147.0.7727.56: Works perfectly with normal GPU usage under the same conditions.

Tested on two different MacBooks: MacBook Pro (A1502), 16GB RAM, i7 (2015) — OS: macOS Monterey. MacBook Pro (MMQX3), 64GB RAM, M1 Max (2021) — OS: macOS Sequoia (15.x/Tahoe).

Please tell me why I cannot login to Yahoo.mail. My mail account is [redacted] @yahoo.com. I don't know why, but I did get a message to enter my password to Yahoo in Settings, but was unable to do so.
