I looked at the system requirements page at https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/141.0/system-requirements/ . For Windows devices, the operating systems supported are listed as "Windows 10 or later".

In October 2025, Microsoft officially stops providing feature and security updates for Windows 10. However, they offer consumers and businesses the option of enrolling in 1-year, 2-year, and 3-year subscriptions for Windows 10 devices which will provide another 1-year, 2-years, and 3-years of additional security updates. For those individuals and businesses who will be enrolling devices into the Windows 10 ESU program, will Mozilla continue to support Firefox on Windows 10 after October 2025, at least for those receiving security updates through Microsoft subscriptions? Or at that point will Mozilla consider Windows 11 to be the only supported Windows operating system?

Hallo und guten Tag, auf meinem Desktop habe ich seit einigen Tagen einen neuen Ordner mit der Bezeichnung - Alte Firefox-Daten - . Ich kann den Ordner leider nicht löschen. Alle Versuche sind bisher gescheitert.

Habe Mozilla Firefox schon 2-mal deinstalliert etc. Der besagte Ordner lässt sich trotzdem nicht löschen.

Angeblich wegen fehlender Berechtigung. Was kann ich machen?

After recent update bookmarks disappeared. When I restore them and then close firefox developer edition the bookmarks toolbar is gone again. It seems like a bug in that recent update. Please advise.

Is there any way to find out if a point release is coming? In other words, I'm running 142.0.1. I'd like to know if a 142.0.2 is going to be released. Not necessarily when, but just if one is in the works and will be released at some point.

I tried to search for it online but i wasn't able to find any because the software i have for firefox now won't let me open some pages on websites because i have a old version firefox software. Hello, Any help would be tremendously appreciated! Can someone please tell me very briefly the steps to switch from the FF 128.8 ESR version to the latest supported regular version, which I believe is FF 136. From my research, it appears that you can download the regular version and go to about:profiles to switch your profile back to your original one used w the ESR version. Please list the very simple steps (1,2,3 etc) to switch from ESR to regular version for a non techie.

My background, I have an older MacBook Pro mid 2015, which had 10.11 installed (El Capitan) and recently took the plunge & updated to Mac OS Monterey (12.7.6), which was the highest allowed for this older MacBook. The new OS is awesome & fixed so many websites that were no longer working.

Firefox automatically moved me to the ESR version at some point with my older Mac 10.11 OS. I believe my latest supported version was 78.15 ESR. When I recently updated my MacBook OS to Monterey 12.7.6, Firefox updated automatically to 128.8 ESR.

Now, many websites recently seem to be broken (gmail, yahoo calendar, duckduckgo, & others), so moving from ESR to the most recent regular version seems like the best solution (I believe FF 136 is highest supported by Mac OS 12.7.6). Please list the very simple switch steps or point me to an article. Thanks very very much.

Hi All, Apologies if I've missed something, but I can't find an answer anywhere. I've got a fresh install of Firefox version 133 running on Windows 10, and I can't seem to install any add-ons. When I click the install button from the add-on's page, it just sits there with the loading animation and seemingly does nothing for several minutes. Attempting to right-click on the download button, "save link as", and hitting "install add-on from file" using that saved link as another user suggested from a similar problem does nothing at all; there's no feedback whatsoever. The add-on I've been trying to install is U-Block Origin, but I've tried this with other add-ons to the same results. The only other thing I've tried is installing one of the recommended add-ons from the add-on page directly, Privacy Badger specifically. This causes an actual window to pop up telling me Firefox is verifying the add-on, but nothing happens past this point. It just sits there, eternally attempting to verify the add-on with no progress ever made, and no error message ever spitting out. I haven't found anyone else with this exact problem. Hopefully I'm missing something obvious and I can feel really silly about the whole thing soon. Thanks much!

I keep getting a triangle deal on Firefox that indicates I need to add the "permission request for Firefox extensions" from Mozilla. Is this something I need to install or just information regarding extensions. From reading about this it doesn't appear to be safe because it can access and change nearly everything? (sorry for my bad English) I delete and again install Firefox, and after this if I open tabs (Youtube, etc) and close browser, tabs doesn't restore and showing default 1 search tab Firefox. Setting to restore tabs enabled, but not working, lile a method with about:setting. I will be grateful for help.

I already have "Automatically install updates" and "When Firefox is not running" enabled.

But after each Firefox update I still get the "Do you want to allow this app to make changes..." prompt and "Firefox is installing your updates and will start in a few moments" window. These are inconvenient as they require user input and take up time.

I don't get these on all other browsers I use (including Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, Opera, Vivaldi, Brave), which all update in the background seamlessly.

Is there a way to prevent these in Firefox and just have Firefox update seamlessly in the background like other browsers?
