I accidentally typed "amd" instead of "and" and FF asked me if I meant to typed "aided". Really? Often times the word I'm looking for isn't even listed in the suggestions. And if it has a apostrophe forget it, FF has no clue about punctuation. Why? You'd think by now it'd be able to learn these things. Internet Explorer has no trouble. Can I import their dictionary somehow?

Quand j'ouvre un nouvel onglet en cliquant sur + c'est une page Quick start qui s'ouvre. Je voudrais plutôt ouvrir une page de démarrage Mozilla ou Google. Je n'ai pas trouvé la solution dans les Options.

A few years ago I set up sync for my desktop and laptop but I never used it. I just got an android phone and I now wish to sync.

So I went to do this and I tried to use the I already have an account option but no luck, it does nothing.

But the set-up an acct option works.

So I think I no longer have an account and I attempt to set up one with the old/same addy, it say no acct taken.

But I am unable to get the device or the pc to allow any syncing.

So I deleted the acct and I assume that worked because when I go to set up the new one it allows me to use that same addy.

But when I did try to set up a new account the select what you want to sync function does nothing, and after filling in capcha etc. I click next and the pop-up closes.

No confirmation and nothing else.

Please help me to figure this out, I am getting sooooooooo frustrated.

after some time using mozilla, when i drag icons on my desktop it moves slowly, this problem happening until i restart UXsms in task manager, after that all works normal. Does someone know why this happening?

I tried over half an hour to contribute to Mozilla. But my card is not accepted. I tried both VISA and PayPal option.

I am trying from Singapore. Called my bank, they say there are no attempts to make the transaction and that it is a Merchant problem.

Any solution? I have tried Multi. Error message webpage below.

I want all new users of firefox on our Linux host to have the same default proxy settings. I don't want them to enter it through the preferences menu.

Is there a central place on the machine (i.e. /etc or /usr/share) where I can input the proxy settings and any user starting firefox will inherit them?

On my desktop, when opening a web page that has a list of images with unique URL's that need to be clicked on to view (open), there is, when I return to the web page using the back arrow, a box around the URL just closed. That way I know which URL I just closed. Question is .. what is that called, and how do I get it back? It is no longer there and I don't know what it's called so I can find it in About:config

I have also done a reset. I have also started in a safe start mode. My preferred home page may load once and then not work the next time. I have the default theme set. I also do not have any extensions listed in my add on manager. I've also had a problem trying to update the flash software.

This is getting very frustrating.

Firefox was working great - then one day I clicked on the icon to load and no screen came up. My internet connection is good. Running windows 8. Can anyone help please?

Links no longer open in Thunderbird. I click on link and address shows in bottom of window but nothing happens. Using Chrome browser. Problem occurred just a few days ago. No changes made and everything worked fine until a few days ago.

When I click Mozilla Firefox to open it,it open and I get a Window message to dial my connection. IE used to do it automatically. Can I do that with Mozilla Firefox?

For about a month now the version of firefox on my work pc, the "new tab" tiles can no longer be updated. I can move existing tabs. I cannot add new tabs. Dragging a bookmark over an empty tile opens the link in the "new tab". If I accidentally delete a tile, it is gone forever. Firefox does not prompt me to restore it. I am running the current ver. of Firefox. I even uninstalled/re-installed to see if that had an effect, it did not. Windows7, Firefox 27.0.1

I went into options then settings, changed the size of the fonts, nothing happened. In fact it looks a lot smaller. This is on my home page. The email size did change.
