I would like to permanently turn off enhanced tracking protection for https://www.powerlanguage.co.uk/wordle/ so that I can track my stats. I can turn this off for a session via the shield icon but I am unable to find a way to save this setting. Manage Exceptions in Enhanced Tracking Protection in Settings does not allow me to add any site as an exception.

When I'm using the Firefox browser a small pop-up box often appears saying "Must provide password." If I type in my actual password and hit Enter, the box just pops up again. If I hit the Cancel button it goes away and doesn't seem to affect my use of the browser. Is there a way to get it to stop popping up?

Problem: Firefox scrolls up to the top of page when I click on any video link on Tiktok site.

Details:

  • Problem also exists in Private Window.
  • I tried disabling all Extensions and it didn't help.
  • Works normal only in Safe Mode.
  • Tiktok works fine with other browsers.
  • Page works normal 1 time after initial loading. I click on any video and it opens. When I exit video page and land back on video index, problem starts. Any mouse click (right, left and middle) makes FF jump to top of the page (even without scrolling. It's supposed to scroll just like when you press HOME on keyb.).
  • 2 different behaviors on Tiktok Main Feed vs Tiktok User's Feed. On the Main Feed, when I click on a video, I see the page jumps to top but it opens the video link after a 1/2 sec delay. On the User's Feed, video link doesn't open. It just jumps to the top and does nothing.

Version: FF 96.0.3 (64-bit) for Desktop PC OS: Win 7 SP2

Any suggestions to pin and fix this?

Firefox does not let me always access one of my bank accounts (the bank comes back with a 404 error) but using Chrome or Edge I can sign in. This happened about 6 months ago with another bank account, but then the problem mysteriously went away. Are there some settings I need to adjust?

Every time Firefox throws out an update, it's a blind gamble as to whether the tabs, that were such a labor to get back below the bookmark bar after the LAST update, will appear again back at the top. Somehow the userChrome.css gets jazzed or some other thing is different. Then, suddenly, all you see are desperate people posting about how to get the tabs back where they belong. For the love of God Almighty on a roller coaster, isn't anyone at Mozilla thinking that it might be time to just make this a setting? I know I'm not the first person to request this. Which is all the more reason to make it a priority. Please. Shake somebody.

Hi,

I have 2 online stores built using Wordpress, both use the same theme, 'Storefront' and both using Woocommerce. The site with the issue, I am using a child theme.

Today I noticed the credit card input box on the checkout page is missing on the site with the child theme - the input fields aren't loading at all. (see screenshot) The issue only happens on Firefox and Firefox mobile. Everything displays on Chrome and Edge browsers.

I have deactivated all other plugins and checked after each one to see if the problem persists - it does. I have also tried using the Twenty Twnety-one theme to see if that makes a difference - it does not.

The site has previously been working and all boxes / input fields have been displaying properly until today.

If I inspect the element using FF console the document within the iframe is missing. Yet, when I use the console via Chrome or Edge it isn't (as expected becasue it displays on both browsers).

Any ideas as to why this behavour, will be appreciated - thanks.

Regards,

NOTE: I am using; Windows 7 / Android 8.0 FF 96.0.1 Chrome 97.0.4692.71 Edge 97.0.1072.62

I'm running 96.0.3 (64-bit) on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Firefox has suddenly started having trouble with my local library's website. Chrome loads it just fine. Here's a sample URL:

https://jocolibrary.bibliocommons.com/v2/record/S36C592151

Firefox tries to load that for 60 seconds or so and then says "504 Gateway Time-out The server didn't respond in time. "

When I go to the main site:

https://jocolibrary.bibliocommons.com

Firefox will load it, though it takes a while, and everything seems ok except it flashes the message "Could not retrieve availabilities via API. Baker_And_Taylor short-circuited and fallback disabled." When I try to use the Search function on the page, I get the 504 error mentioned above.

I've tried running Firefox without add-ons and the same thing happens. I've tried deleting the cookies for this site as well.

Firefox has never had trouble with this site before late last night.

I have tried many times and many ways to delete cookies but the little blighters won't delete. I have used the option "manage data" and cleared each one individually, I have tried "remove all' and I have tried clearing all history. I have tried each option many times and have shut down firefox and my mac repeatedly but the cookies won't go. I know it has done something because it logged me out of all my accounts and all the form data and browsing history [which I would rather have kept] is gone....but those rotten cookies are still alive! This must be a bug. I am using Mac Big Sur. Any help would be very much appreciated please! Thanks muchly.

I am trying to transfer my firefox bookmarks from my old computer's hard drive to my new computer. they are both fairly current laptops, and i believe both are on windows 10 (the new one is on, i think, whatever the newest version of windows is). I cannot turn on my old computer, so I can't export the bookmarks, but the hard drive is fully functional. The problem is, I can't find where the bookmarks are located. I have tried looking through the files, I have "show hidden files" on, I have tried manually searching for "places.sqlite" and I have tried doing the %APPDATA% thing. I can see other folders on the hard drive very easily, so it shouldn't be the fault of the hard drive. If you know how I am able to find the files, please go through it step-by-step; I'm not proficient in computer things, and something that may seem very obvious and instinctive to you may be what I'm messing up on.
