Hi Netflix wont play sound works in Edge. I have 2 screens set up and moved firefox back to my main screen and sound stopped. Tried everything no go. ie logged out restated etc win 10. thanks.

Until fixed guess I will watch Netflix in edge!

ps no error messages and yet Netflix sound is on etc...

Hello, I use dark mode extensions extensively :) and I really dislike light mode pages. However, Mozilla pages refuse to be changed due to the fact that they are "protected" by default.

I don't really care for this protection. Can it be disabled?

As the subject shown, there are some wrong things happened on UI appearance, and hard to describe. Does anyone know to fix the problem to let pages display properly as the Chrome shown?

I have attempted to follow the import steps, select the three lines (top right corner) > Passwords > Click on the three dots (right hand corner) > Import from another Browser > Safari. However, it only shows the Bookmark data to import. I would appreciate any input on how to import the login and password data from Safari to Firefox, please.

Normally, when I click on a link that connects to a file, I'll get an option window allowing "Save" or "Open with". A few days ago, FF is defaulting to "Save" The same operation in Chrome still returns the option window.

Is there a setting I need to change?

I have no screen capture whatsoever - no menu comes up with a right click, no screen capture icon is present to add to the menu. I used to have an add on but that disappeared and is no longer available. From your latest tips letter I think I'm using a different browser entirely! If you can help I'd appreciate it- as I say I used to have it in my browser but no longer. Now I have to screen capture and edit it in an external program- I'm sure you'll agree this is horrific to have to do.

A few days ago, a weird problem arose with "Take Screenshot" function.

The resulting image includes area designated PLUS a border on the right edge AND on the bottom edge. Note: width of side border is wider than border on the bottom is tall. This is difficult to tell in a file image because it seem to be transparent and assumes the color of background. Confusing, I know, so I have included a composite image image of result of "Save Image As..." on top, and the "Take Screenshot" added to the bottom. Prior to a few days ago, the bottom image would not have the added borders and therefore the colored part of the image would be the same width as the "Save Image As..." and extend to bottom of the image.

Note: it doesn't matter whether I download to file or cut and paste the image. The same thing happens if I "Save Full Image". And, yes, I know I need to upgrade to latest version, but this issue needs investigation...

Before I close the Firefox browser i go to Settings>Clear Data> Cookies & Site Data>Cached Web Content. I clear all and the Cached Web Content is lowered to 45kb. History is deleted. There is nothing in Manage Data or Manage Exceptions. The computer is turned off. A day later the computer is turned on and Cached Web Content is 2Mb.

Windows Defender anti-virus malware scan and full scan have been run. The computer is up to date, Win 10 Home, version 21H1, OS build 19043.1237.

Any idea what is causing Cached Web Content to grow from 45kb to 2 Mb when the computer is turned off?

after the latest update to FF 92.0 the bookmarks which are organized in folders enlarged its line space between. Unfortunately very less bookmarks can be seen at once. How can I set the spaces between those bookmarks?

FF has been my default for decades primarily because of superior print options. I use Custom Print option to print out pages in larger front, but this no longer seems to work in 92.01. At say 115 custom I lose text to right and bottom of page (both in preview and print to PDF).

When signing in to Wondrium.com, I now receive this message and cannot access the site ussing Firefox

Hello, I would like to install an add-on from a file on my PC. The documentation says:

For advanced users: You can also install add-ons from a file. If you saved the installer file to your computer, (for example, an .xpi or .jar file) you can install the add-on using the gear icon in the upper-right area of the Add-on Manager Extensions panel. Select Install Add-on from file... from the menu, then find and select the file. My problem is that the gear icon does not appear anywhere on my panel.

There must be a new way to do it? Does anyone have a hint? My firefox version is 92.0.1 (64 bits).

I've been going through all the Spell Checker problems with Firefox on the forum and so far nothing has solved my problem.

Since re-installing Firefox, my spell check is not working. It's ticked in the language settings and I've since installed two dictionaries. I read on one post to check if the dictionary is selected (or something) by right-clicking and selecting languages in the languages sub menu but when I right-click, there is no such menu.

Short of re-installing Firefox and hoping for the best, anyone have any potential solutions?

Since a recent update, Firefox no longer has a "Home" button to the left of the address bar. How do I get it back? I am using Mozilla Firefox 92.0.1 in Windows 10. Thank you for your assistance.  :-)

Visited links are turning color to purple in my firefox, which is default color, I did not change those color settings, and usually this behavior works but sometime on some links in google search result

1. Clicked link turning color
2. Checking the page and clicking back button
3. visited link color is still blue, should have been purple

I tried to open same search result in another tab but still no purple color for visited link. probably google adding some parameter to visited link which is making firefox algorithm to not to understand is this link visited or not.

My firefox version is 92.0.1, in windows 10

when I'm on Yahoo and open a site to read that contains pictures the main picture at the top of the story will open ,but down the screen as you read other pictures will appear but won't load ,they show as gray boxes . Is there a setting I need to change to correct this ?

Clicking on an event in the programm list should open a new page - does not work, there seems to be just one additional line appearing below every segment.

Workaround: "Open link in New Tab".
