I saw a a previous post with a similar problem (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1008744?esab=a&as=aaq) , but it's not for the same sort of content, and the answers did not help me.

I'm trying to view a virtual tour on a website, and I don't know why it's not showing up, but it does if I view it directly.

There is absolutely no indication as to //what// plugin is missing, and where I can get it. I am using the latest versions of Firefox and Flash, on Win 8.1.

You can find it here: http://www.autopano.net/wiki-en/action/view/Panotour_Tutorials_-_Create_a_simple_virtual_tour_and_upload_it_on_Google_Drive#Finished_Tour

It works on every other browser. The full link to the content directly is here, which /DOES/ work in FF: https://49bc6130e8cd1d9c5acf43941b125e6652644cc2.googledrive.com/host/0B21ztMIr_KkXdTNvcHNOYjNlVGc/index.html

I asked for the embed code that was used, which is <embed src="https://49bc6130e8cd1d9c5acf43941b125e6652644cc2.googledrive.com/host/0B21ztMIr_KkXdTNvcHNOYjNlVGc/index.html?html5=only" width="700" height="500"></embed>

Why can't I view the content?

Ps: Your troubleshooter add-on doesn't have a verified author, that's a bit silly.

Whenever I attempt to load up Gmail I get this message: http://i.imgur.com/i7wNMrS.png

But when I go into private mode I can view Gmail without a problem. Is there a fix for this? I'm trying to switch from my bugged Chrome to Firefox, but if this can't be fixed then I'll go back.

Using the shift key doesn´t produce the ´correct´ symbol. For example, SHIFT + 2 produces " rather than @. From left to right on the keyboard, these are the symbols I get with the shift key

As you can imagine this makes it very difficult and irritating to work in firefox. Hopefully you have a solution for this. Thanks, Jane

I first saw this error last night first with tumblr and then tried to go to the mozilla support site to see what the problem is but got the same error. So then with the help of Google, I discovered going into the "about:config" and setting the "security.ssl.enable_ocsp_stapling" to FALSE to work as a temporary fix for my problem and things began to work fine.

Today, I set "security.ssl.enable_ocsp_stapling" back to TRUE but still got the same "Invalid OCSP signing certificate in OCSP response. (Error code: sec_error_ocsp_invalid_signing_cert)" message when opening tumblr and mozilla support.

The solution for most people seemed to be to give it time but I wonder if I'm having a different problem to others since sites like twitter and droxbox appeared broken when I tried opening them. But when "security.ssl.enable_ocsp_stapling" was set to FALSE, they seem to work fine.

Hello, my parents just bought a new computer and I am helping them to set it up. Right now their biggest concern is that when Firefox closes and is reopened, the session from last time is automatically restored. They are worried about privacy concerns in case they're logged in shopping or on their email.

I am using Windows 8.1 and Firefox 33.0.2

Firefox is currently set in the options to "Show my homepage" when it starts. I found this link https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/975670 and followed the directions there, including setting browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash. in the config files to false, but I've still had no luck. A search shows that I do not have a "user.js" file in the Firefox profile that might be causing the problem, so that solution isn't working for me.

I also used this page http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.sessionstore.enabled to check my "browser.startup.page" and it is currently set to 1 "Show my Homepage."

I'm out of ideas and would appreciate any help anyone could offer.

Thanks!

have tried all the fixes this system could throw at me, honestly had tried 98% of them myself already, more then once. anyways my issue is this sites like CNN.com, IGN.com, mozilla.org (and some but not all related sites) will either hang and load very slowly or not at all. This issue just started out of the blue a couple days ago. i did not load any new software or patch anything as far as i know (can't speak for auto-updates) I do not have this issue in IE at all. Things i have tried to fix the situation:

1. Ran malware-bytes, spy-bot, norton anti-virus (also disabled all them to ensure no cofilicts there either)to find mal-ware or virus....nothing found

2. uninstalled firefirefox also deleted firefox folders in C:/users/(username)/appdata/local and roaming as well as from my C:/program files (x86)..I then reinstalled Firefox

3. Disabled hardware accleration and also tried it on.

4. Ran in safe mode

5. ran CCleaner

6. changed my firefox profile

7. reset firefox

8. did a system restore

9. did a registry fix check and repair

I might be forgetting a few but as i said i read ever bit this trouble shooting program threw at me and tried it. I am totally at a loss as i can usualy clear things like this up myself. I would really like to get this working and short of the very unappealing, possibly ineffectual re-installing windows, i am out of ideas.

When typing a URL into the location bar, if the URL is just a name without a scheme or path, and if the name resolves in DNS, and if the name contains no dots, then Firefox prompts "Did you mean to go to <name>?" and redirects to a search for the name rather than taking me directly to http://<name>.

How to I force Firefox to always attempt to load the web page at a dotless name rather than defaulting to searching and prompting?

I have a screenshot to demonstrate what I am talking about, but I am not sure how to include it here.

I want to change the color of visited sites, but am forced to set background and foreground colors which don't properly show all of the colors for controls etc on many websites. I have to uncheck the button to Allow pages to choose their own colors.... Google is a good example after doing a search, then change visited sites color, uncheck the allow pages button and then you can't see the search button and most of the options in the top right corner in google.

I am a little color blind, so can't differentiate blue and purple for links on visited sites...

thx

I am running Windows 8 on my PC. I was viewing images of art on art.com using Firefox when suddenly the images disappeared and I could only see the text on the left side. I rebooted. That didn't work. I cleared the cache and cookies. That didn't work either. Every time I bring up that website and select a page with many art images, none appear. If I use the Explorer browser, it works fine and all the art images are visible.
