Hi,

I am having 2 PC.

Problem with 1st PC Every time I start firefox I have to disable and then enable again Extension for it work. If I don't do this, then Extension will show as Enable but it will not work. It will show enable but will work as if it is diabled. Few of them are Adblock Plus Smart Video For Youtube Yesware Youtube smart pause

I have other Extensions also, but they works well. Only problem with this 4 extensions.

2nd PC problem It freezes too much. Every 1 or 2 minutes. I uses only below Extension Conduit Toolbar Last Pass FireFTP Evernote web clipper

I seek help from seniors.

Until one week ago, I had no difficulty or problems working Constant Contact while open in my Firefox browser. Now I have several with some functions in CC not working.

Inserting images, setting hyper links, changing background color - These are three necessary functions that I use in Constant Contact emails that no longer function when opening CC in Firefox browser - latest update was today 10/29/2013.

The function work in the Chrome and Internet Explorer browsers. I have contacted Support at Constant Contact and the issue is not with their program.

I've been using Mozilla for a long time. It's been nearly a year now since the videos stop flowing (but sound works normally) if I don't keep moving the mouse all the time. My son found a trick : He keeps the cursor out of the video frame, and presses twice the windows start button. After this, video flows normally too !. When I uprgaded to v.25 I noticed that now I have to move the cursor all the time otherwise mozilla freezes whatever I do, even open any page !. My configuration is : Windows 7 (64bit), Intel Core 2 Quad (Q6600), 4gb RAM, VGA : HD6800 (1gb) All drivers are up to date.

Just recently gotten back into using Firefox. Have been using Chrome. Firefox has one thing that Chrome doesn't have. So I see a number of old Plugs Ins from back when. How do I delete them. I've set to Never Activate. After each Plug In shows RESEARCH. But I don't want to research...I want to delete the old ones. So where do I go from here?

I assume there must be a configuration issue. I have another computer with the same OS of Windows 8.1. The other computer works well without this issue, so I copied its profile folder to the problem computer, and the problem remains. Disabling all add-ons did not correct my issue.

The new window is "http://block.policehunt.org/?id=d04201572567089f9b464bbb1b065531". It says in very broken english that they recorded me accessing child porn and in order to unblock my browser, I must pay $300 via some payment outlet. When I try to close the window, a pop up asks, "do you want to leave this page?" IF you click on yes, it blinks and repeats the same pop up over and over.

The English used in the message indicates it is clearly a fraud.....it appears as though it may be a virus, although I have an internet virus scanner.

Any suggestions how to "selectively" remove this "blocking" window without having to reset firefox entirely?

- Windows XP SP3 (up to date with all critical updates) - FireFox 25.0.1 (Note: Originally I had version 31 but a few days ago that stopped working) - Norton Security Suite (the comcast version) up to date - I have IE6 and Chrome 37 as backup browsers (Note: when FF stopped working, IE8 had also stopped working - page would open, only one system process, but page would never load)

Ran the following scans: - SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition - Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - Ad-Aware Antivirus - Spybot-S&D Start Center

Found a few non-critical yet potential infections (nothing too crazy) Symptom persists as follows: - fresh boot of computer - open task manager (no instances of FF) - open firefox - process appears in task manager and immediately goes to 50% (nothing opens and nothing listed in Applications) - open a second instance of firefox - 2nd process appears in task manager (still nothing opens and neither instance appears in Applications (the two instances continue to run at a cumulative 50% CPU usage - one might be 15% and the other running at 35% - or both running at 25% each) - open a third instance of firefox (still nothing opens, and all three instances show in task manager processes and cumulatively run at 50% - example:15 +15 + 20 or 10 + 15 + 25)

Troubleshooting: restored a drive image from May 2014 - Note: Dec 2013 I had done a complete FRESH new install of Windows XP in prep for EOL and installed all updates, including SP3, so the image I chose from May was only 5 months old, but I chose that one because of some of the other programs I had installed that month and didn't want to go through that again - Note #2: I have drive image run a monthly PQI backup of my C: drive and my R: drive) I have two hard drives 300G each whereas C: drive is OS only and R: drive is all my downloads, my documents, my photos, etc)

- after the image restored, I tried to open FF and IE8, neither app was problematic. FF auto updated from what version, I don't know, but it was on 31 when I realized the problem was BACK. Also ran some WIN critical updates, and IE8 stopped working too!

uninstalled IE8 (rolled back to IE6 and now IE works - but obviously I can not live with IE6 - I need to update that!) uninstalled FF31 (and deleted all temp and profile account folders) and installed a brand new copy of FF25 - whereas I immediately force stopped autoupdater and deleted the update files so I could remain on FF25.

Now FF25 will open only on the second instance of the process (the first will always go to 50% CPU, the second will open and run between 0 and 10 CPU, and only one application in Applications) - I have learned that I can kill the 50% process using task manager or process explorer and total CPU usage will drop down to 0% - 10%

I can open many many tabs without any problems, and I can right click a link to open a new window and all is good, BUT if I use the desktop ICON, the quick launch ICON or the START > Programs > Icon, then the NEXT process will go to 50% and no second window will open

I have seen dozens of forums that have reported similar memory issues, but none have been resolved.

Can you help me? I don't want to upgrade IE6 to IE8 just yet, but I will not use it for anything but testing until I can upgrade. Note: besides being painfully slow, I have been switching to Chrome, but I have never enjoyed Chrome.... I am using FF right now to ask for help.

Any suggestions?

Firefox запоминает пароли, но не подставляет их после повторного посещения страницы. Установил мастер пароль, в результате, при посещении одного из сайтов где сохранен пароль, браузер предлагает ввести мастер пароль, после ввода пароль сайта и логин подставляется, но если запустить другой сайт, где также сохранен пароль, то он уже не подставится. До этого работал в опере - там таких проблем нет, но в виду того, что опера умерла, вынужден подыскивать новый браузер. Лис пока подходит больше всего, но без быстрого входа с сохраненными паролями он совершенно бесполезен. Как решить эту проблему?

This is a follow-up to the discussion in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/956602 entitled: "Since upgrade, FIrefox 20 and Adobe flash player 11 eat up all my CPU wieh playing streaming video." I would post it there, but since that thread is "archived" I cannot. I wish there was a way that I could get readers of that thread to see this solution.

On September 3, 2013, I posted that this problem had been affecting my Windows 7 64 bit system as well: After playing a Flash video with the latest Firefox and Flash player, my CPU usage was 100% consumed by an unknown process. The only fix was to reboot, and its effects were only temporary, until playing the next flash video.

Yesterday, a routine scan by Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (MBAM) discovered, and recommended removal of, an application called Link Swift, which according to my Control Panel / Programs and Features, had been installed on 9/1/2013. I have no memory of deliberately installing it, and so I let MBAM uninstall it. Since then my system seems to behave normally again.

Since updating to 25, when I open Facebook, FF freezes and memory is outrageously high (up to 498,500) I've tried all of the solutions presented in other posts, except for wiping out my profile. Since so many have this problem (just web search and see), I hope that Mozilla will be giving us all an update/fix soon.

I run Win7 SP1, M'soft Sec. Esssentials and use https on FB

I have a list of about 15 search engines added to search bar (all usual and famous sites), but somehow suddenly i've been unable to organize them or even change order of them. when i select manage search engines from the drop down menu of search bar the options window opens ok. next, if i change the order or remove or even press restore defaults then the ok button will never save this new settings or close the window and nothing to do other than to press cancel.

after some tries i found that changing order of some engines works ok. i tried everything and i don't want to lose my firefox profile it has a lot of hard work.

When I open a video from a website or Youtube, it will not continue to play unless I keep moving the mouse. I use a wireless mouse. Same problem occurs for downloads. If I don't move the mouse the downloads freezes. This is only happening on Firefox. I do not have this problem with Internet Explorer. I have tried resetting firefox, doing a complete search and clean with Winzip, trying all the tips on your help page, but nothing works. Can you offer a simple solution? I am not a PC wiz so the simpler the better.

Hi, so when updating a program I accidentally agreed to install a toolbar or something onto Firefox. All it's really done is change my homepage to Conduit Search away from what it previously was and change the new tab page to the same search engine.

I've managed to change my homepage back to what it was, but I cannot change the tab page to the default about:newtab (I'm pretty sure that's what it is at least).

I've looked through the forums and tried some things, like editing the user.js file (which doesn't exist for me), I've looked for the entrusted11 addon which also doesn't exist and I've also tried changing the new tab URL in about:config. Whenever I try to change it from the conduit site nothing happens and resetting also does nothing.

All of a sudden I was unable to open email attachments with my att yahoo account. I was able to open them using Explorer. I tried all the suggestions posted including clearing history, safe mode, and resetting Firefox, to no avail. This problem occurs with all email extensions.

Clicking on a pdf attachment in AT&T/Yahoo Mail results in "a file was downloaded". Used to open the file in Firefox 25.0 and prior. Switching to IE I can click on the attachment and it opens. Seems it could be something in 25.0.1. I cleared my history (cache, cookies) but this did not fix the problem. I disabled the pdf viewed and that didn't help either.

I a select a site (exaple via Goolge) then Firefox open a new page wiht spam advertising site. If a fullout a field then Firefox pen a new page wiht spam advertising site.

When attempting to save a bookmark, using "Bookmark this page" and then selecting Bookmark Menu to display a list of saved folders, the list of saved folders that appears is a short partial list. This list does not permit scrolling to view the remaining unlisted folders. All these folders are viewable/accessable when "Show all bookmarks".

I received a notification to update an Adobe product that is commonly used by internet users daily. After installing, the actual product download failed but now when I open Firefox and Internet Explorer it directs and goes to NationZoom. I go into options and type in yahoo to open program or a new tab and it goes to NationZoom. How do I get rid of it? I found that NationZoom's parent company is Violeter Technology Limited when I did a Google search. NationZoom has it taken over my browsers and the URL I get every time I open up a browser is http://www.nationzoom.com/?type=sc&ts=1386393134&from=tugs&uid= FUJITSUXMHZ2320BHXG1_K61ET8C2A5LUT8C2A5LUX

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox and I still get the same problem.
