This is an exact copy of a question with the same title by Steve Ediger, of August 2022, now archived.

Firefox has my credit card information and it shows up in a window when I go to pay for something, but when I click on the credit card I want to pay with, the details appear on the form but get removed almost instantly.

I am in UK. It was working until recently.

None of the earlier answers have helped.

In current version of firefox when attempting to log in to yahoo.com I get the error message from AT&T:

Something's gone wrong We may be having trouble with your connection. Connecting your device to Wi-Fi could help fix the issue or try again later. If you were using an app, close this page. Otherwise, start over.

No error when using edge or chrome.

This question relates to version 134.0.2 (64-bit). This morning I started Firefox and found that many of my bookmarks were missing. On trying to restore from the program automatic backups, I get the repeated message "Unable to process the backup file." On examination, the files, while not in ASCII, appear to contain ASCII text strings recognizable from the bookmark descriptions. They are not, at least, empty. Unfortunately, I do not have an HTML format backup. Any idea why none of the backups work or what options I have? Thanks in advance.

It seems certain sites are prone to fire popup tabs, with any click, right clicks included. I close them immediately and the second click acts normal, getting the nav result I was asking for. How to strength the popup blocking function to stop this distracting behavior? Thanks for any pointers. This may prevent me from staying on FF.

For weeks now google translate has not been working as it should, when I translate something it usually defaults to translating it to English, but if I change the language to any other than English it still only shows the English translation (or whatever language it got "stuck" on).

I have signed out and in of my google account, have the latest version of Firefox (134.0.2), refreshing the pages doesn't help. I don't have this issue in other browsers.

Hello, I clicked on a vendor link with a email on Outlook webmail and was refused a connection. Not even given a choice to bypass it. This is a reputable vendor associated with my professional work. Please let me know a work around for this browser behavior.

Hallo. ich habe den Adblocker deaktiert und entfernt. Trotdzem scheint er noch im Hintergrund zu arbeiten. I have been messing with my computer and this morning Firefox had ceased to function, and I will be looking for my extensive bookmark list here or on another drive.. I just feel that windows 11 is pernicious!!

When I attempt to use Firefox autofill for address/credit card/etc, Linux will prompt for Root password. After entering root password, everything freezes. I have no access to mouse or keyboard and my entire OS become unresponsive. Besides the hangup, my firefox tabs randomly crash as well with the following bug tag: https://crash-stats.mozilla.org/report/index/3020d645-af46-4821-bbfc-e4d680250213. I don't know if the two are related, but both eventually lead my my OS freezing with only hard power down. Every time I try to use autofill, it freezes my OS. I can keep replicating the issue.

I downloaded a PDF and used Firefox to view the file. I'm trying to find key words in the PDF and I always get phrase not found. As a test I inputted a word I found in the document but find in page stated phrase not found. What am I doing wrong? I remember that I have used that feature in the past and it worked.

Hello mozilla support team I am Gina I have this problem for about two or three weeks now.I try to watch videos on mozzila firefox and I get gliches and sound dose'nt work.I don't have those problems on vivaldi at least at this moment. my new monitor offers a screen where I can shut down, sleep, or restart.......I usually chose sleep, because I think it allows me quicker access to my browzer home page when moving the mouse for reboot. However, about six or more times now, the sleep mode will stop, a "don't interrupt" message in ghost script in the upper left hand corner of the screen comes on, the an HP logo with a dizzing circular moving gif suggest the computer is starting........no so. I have waited 30 minutes or more, started and stopped with the power button, hit every key on the board and swear prolifically now and then with NO results.

Using a fairly new HP computer, win 11, and version 134.0.2 of FireFox......AND, I'm a good guy. I think so, anyway. What am I doing wrong. It seems that each time this happens, if and when the computer will restart, that FireFox has an update in the wings and needs to have that installed before I move on to use the pc. Is there a connection?

Starting early this morning I could not open a website (where I purchase supplements) I have accessed in the recent past. I added the address to the DNS listing but that didn't help. In the verification lock icon in front of the address it says the connection is secure. But below it states the Connection verified by a certificate issuer that is not recognized by Mozilla. Prior to 1/22/25, I had no issues opening this or other websites. It doesn't matter if I have my VPN turned off or not, the website does not open. Was the Mozilla update of 1/22 the cause? If so, how do I rectify the issue I currently have? If not, how do I rectify the issue I have?

I use a news site for my home page. Like everything else it wants me to sign in with an account. Is there any way I can get my home page to open on the news site already logged in to my account, or do I have to just sign in every time. I hope I'm making myself clear - I don't know if I'm using the right terminology here.
