I have two computers. Both sign into the same Firefox account. Both instances of Firefox are the same version (134.0.1 64-bit).

On my main computer, creating a new tab is set to Firefox Home (default), and clicking the "+" sign to create a new tab results in the recommendations appearing as seen in the first image (firefox_2025-01-19_17-42-57.png)

On the other computer, creating a new tab is set to Firefox Home (default), and clicking the "+" sign to create a new tab results in the recommendations appearing as seen in the second image (firefox_2025-01-19_17-43-57.png)

How to I get both instances of Firefox to do the same thing when creating a new tab, i.e. organize the recommendations like the second image?

When access https://www.anaf.ro and go to Certificate login i have redirect to https://login.anaf.ro/my.policy and i receive error: Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to login.anaf.ro. SSL peer was unable to negotiate an acceptable set of security parameters. Error code: SSL_ERROR_HANDSHAKE_FAILURE_ALERT

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

I am using standard tracking protection, i checked Don’t enable HTTPS-Only Mode, i cleared cookies, nothing work.

Recently when I try to download a file Firefox seems to give it a random amount of time before it attempts to open the file. For small files this isn't a problem, as it always seems to give at least a few seconds, but larger files get cut off. This leaves the file corrupted/incomplete.

I have no idea why is started doing this. Just one day it started opening everything I downloaded, be it PDF, image etc when complete. I turned this off and it has stopped for things that download properly, but it's still doing this 'cut off' attempt to open.

I was using DuckDuckGo and it failed a connection, now trying to switch to Firefox as my browser. I still get confused about browsers and search engines, but I want to be able to connect to a website that did not function with DuckDuckGo, all of a sudden and for no reason I could figure out. I have Microsoft 365 Windows 11 (I think) on 1 laptop and Windows 10 on another laptop; I am trying to use the newer laptop with Windows 11 but not totally switched over.

I think that I have already set up my browser with Mozilla but you still ask me to do it????????? How do I know it is done and if it is not done then how do I do it???????????

Why in blue blazes do you have to make the download process so friggin' convoluted?

Why not have ..... press "GO". whilst waiting .... go and make a cuppa! We'll do the important bits......?

Seriously.... It's been eight months since I last enjoyed access to my p.c. ....... Welcome back to the "icky" bits.........

Hi, I'm having some issues with Firefox. I'm opening a website (which I usually visit) even slower than with Tor at the same time. I'd love to know why and how to fix it.

Website https://www.sparda-bank-hamburg.de is not funktioning anymore after Firefox-update to 134.01, even after deactivation of Firefox´optimised tracking-shelter for this website. Login and Logout on this website is no more possible. I cannot us the opened Cookie-mask for this website anymore. Could you, please, assist to find a solution. Best regards Erich Fülling

I have downloaded the mozilla extension " screen recorder". After giving all permissions , the logo of this extension is not showing on my screen .SO, I am not able to use this extension facility. Please solve it. And also I have been blocked for accessing this extension owner' s website. THANK YOU. OM PRAKASH GUPTA

When I open Robert Reich's substack article of the day, I'm finding that whenever the comments, the word "Trump" is replaced by "Mr. Bully". One can see the original by opening repost. If it is one of my own comments I can open Edit and see the original. I asked Substack support about it and they say it isn't them and to check with my browser. OK, Firefox, is this a new "feature" of Firefox or someone hacking Firefox. Would you please look into this for me.

My firefox automatically updated on January 14th. Since the update, it opens with the tool bar above/off the screen, the left side off the screen, and it doesn't allow me to scroll. If I go the the firefox icon at the bottom of the screen and click close window, I can sometimes get it to re-open normally and then leave it open for the balance of the day. I am running windows 11. My wife and I are have the same issue right after the update. Is there a fix on the way or a setting I can change to fix this.

Not as important but I want to get away from all things google. Right now my firefox is tied to a gmail account. To be void of google, do I need to completely take firefox off my computer and re-install with a new email account or can I transfer the account to a new email?

I had Firefox installed and working perfectly fine , but I had to factory rest my MSI laptop (windows 11 home) because I had suspect suspicious files I needed to get rid of, after the new install of Firefox each time I try to sign into a google account I would be able to type 2/3 letters and then Firefox crashes and closes down , I had uninstall and downloaded a fresh install from the microsoft store

Support I am having problems accessing my accounts on certain web sites, I can access them with other browsers, just not Mozilla Firefox. The two main sites are: https://www.bigfishgames.com https://www.spectrum.net How do I solve this problem? Firefox has been my default Browser for two decades now, but if this problem continues it will not remain as the default. Michael
