I remember in the past being able to disable videos from playing on a page and having a play button I could click to play them manually, am I hallucinating or is this a feature I cannot seem to find ?

I am unable to log into RBS site on Firefox but I can on Chrome and Edge. What's the problem and how do I fix it? This has only happened in the last couple of days.

When I try to download a statement from my bank I just get a blank page pop up. This used to work with Firefox and it works OK with Chrome. What has changed ...or is there a Firefox setting that is wrong?

I tend to have long and extensive conversations on Firefox's Copilot AI but I've run into an issue that makes this more difficult. When I press CTRL + F to search for text through a chat, it only searches on the webpage I have open on the right. I was wondering if there is a feature that exists that does this that I'm not aware of, and if not, maybe that could become a thing later?

I am having an issue where when I right click an image when on the image tab of a search engine, it only has the "Open Image in New Tab" choice in the context menu, with no ability to open the website the image is on in said context menu. ("Open Link in New Tab")

I know this is the opposite of what most folks want, but I see it this way: If you open the image from the context menu right from the search page, it only opens the tiny, fuzzy image that you already could see on the search page. I don't want, nor need, the tiny, pixelated image that I am already looking at.

I want to be able to open it right to the page that the image is on. That way I can see the image in full resolution, or look at the page it is from.

Is there any add-on or code or anything that could help me? I've searched and searched, but nothing I've found has worked.

TL;DR I want to remove "Open Image in New Tab" and replace it with "Open Link in New Tab" from the context menu when clicking on images in the image tab of search engines on Firefox. Is there any add-on or code or anything that could help me?

1. After composing mail in Yahoo mail on my Mac laptop with Firefox, I cannot scroll down to "Send" to send the email I can Send using Safari on the same laptop,.

2. On the Website Sense.com, Firefox has changed the background. The original is baqlck background with yellow text; Firefox displays White background with blue text. Safari displays the original on the same laptop. I've been using Firefox since 2000, please stop tinkering with pages which work. I'd prefer to continue using an Open Source outfit rather than a Proprietary one, in solute of not having a Help phone number. ThANK YOU.

I have been using Google Messages in Firefox for over a year, and have never had any problem until the most recent Firefox update from Linux Mint. Google Messages loads on the tab, and everything seems fine. But when I click on a conversation on the left, it crashes as it's loading the conversation.

All of my software is up to date, i.e., no new software updates are indicated in the system tray (?) on the panel. Firefox info: mint-001 - 1.0 147.0.2 (64-bit)

Firefox doesn't respond after attempts to sign on to GMAIL or Amazon (both with passkey option). I have to force quit from Apple Mac main menu. I am using LastPass.

Usually there would be some shortcuts when I open new tab page. But they were gone on the new page from yesterday. Of course I didn't change setting and didn't install any add-ons. I disabled all add-ons. But problem not solved.

I checked 'preferences-home-Firefox home contents', but I cannot see any options(that area is just empty).

I also checked 'about:config' :

• browser.newtabpage.enabled → true
• browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.feeds.section.topstories → true
• browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.showSearch → true

And I compared between 'about:newtab' and 'about:blank'. I found something that background color of new page are different. There are some HTML code in 'about:newtab' when I use F12. But I don't know what is wrong with this.

I’ve been using Firefox as my primary browser and overall it works great, but I’ve noticed a slowdown pattern during longer sessions and wanted to compare notes with the community.

After running the browser for several hours with many tabs open, I sometimes see delayed responses when switching tabs, typing in text fields, or opening menus. Nothing crashes, but the interface feels heavier until I restart the browser. Once restarted, performance goes back to normal.

I’ve already tried reviewing extensions, disabling a few that I don’t use often, and checking memory usage in about:performance. The numbers go up as expected with more tabs, but I’m not sure how to judge what is considered normal versus problematic.

Because the issue improves after restart, I’m wondering whether this is typical resource buildup, session handling, or something specific I should be tuning.

How do experienced users usually approach diagnosing gradual slowdowns like this? Are there particular indicators in the built-in tools that suggest a real problem rather than expected behavior?
