Why is there not an option to say "no" to Firefox automatically loading when you restart your computer? There is only "yes" or "not now". I am not interested to my internet browser loading and opening once I have restarted my computer. I use my computer for much more than browsing on the internet. I am tired of always having to click the "not now" option to only have it show up the next day or two days later, where I then have to click, yet again, the "not now" option. I even went into Firefox settings and have not found an option to "op out" of this particular feature. Can you please add a "no" option to automatically opening upon restart.

Firefox OFTEN starts with a screen which reads, Sorry we are unable to restore previous sessions. OF COURSE it cannot restore previous sessions. I leave the box unchecked next to, "Open previous windows and tabs. I check the setting, delete all data on closing. I take great pains to delete data including cookies, website settings, etc, on closing, EVERY session. I NEVER want previous tabs, windows or sessions restored. HOW do I program FF to REMEMBER the setting, box unchecked next to "Open previous windows and tabs"

How do we (users) modify Firefox functionality to "open image in new tab" using a keyboard shortcut? A configurable (about:) parameter would be very beneficial.

If this is already solved, please publish documentation on how to solve this without the use of questionable add-on's (which introduce security risks and privacy issues).

the go back to previous page shortcut is annoying and it kept messing with my work and I want to disable it I use touchpad and accidentally goes back to previous page all the time and sometimes I have to redo my unsaved work because of this. Please disable this arrow in a blue circle thing

The shortcut change feature in Firefox does not have an option to disable CTRL+SHIFT+S shortcut function that saves the screen. Is it possible to disable tor change the shortcut. Very frustrating. Thank you.

When trying to set Firefox to open a file on Windows 11, it is overwritten by Firefox Nightly. I have both branches installed.

This is how it goes when attempting to set Firefox as a default application in my machine:

1. "Apps > Default Apps"
2. .mp4 (for example)
3. click the button below that displays the current default application
4. Firefox Nightly appears in this menu
5. "Choose an app on your PC"
6. "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" ... "firefox.exe" ... "Open"
7. Firefox Nightly remains in this menu

I cannot get Firefox to appear as an available app in this menu. The only workaround, although inconvenient, is to drag and drop files straight into Firefox.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

When I inadvertently press CTRL + R when entering text, it is VERY frustrating because the window refreshed and I loose all of what I typed! Is there some way to disable the CTRL + R combo so the window does not refresh?

How can i change bookmarks menu so it will close after choosing. Ive searched and only found option to stay open, (Option to not close menu when opening new tab)... Not what im wanting, I want to open bookmarks choose and have it auto close the side bar of bookmarks. Maybe even auto closing the link folders opened. Windows 11.

When uploading files with Firefox, I click the upload button, and the file browser window appears to upload files.

For as long as I can remember, it always defaulted to the last folder location that I uploaded a file, but just a few days ago, it stopped working, and always defaults to my home folder.

How can I make the upload window pop up, default to the last uploaded location? My OS is Linux Mint Cinnamon.

Anytime I open Firefox that pop-up shows, I don't want F-fox opening every time I start PC but there's no option to get it to go away otherwise, or at least that I can see.

Up until the last week, on my iMac, if I clicked on the Firefox button on my bottom toolbar, both of my main FF windows (each with multiple tabs and open all the time) would come to the front of the screen.

Now, only one window comes up and I have to specifically select the other window to see it.

Is this a new behaviour or have I inadvertently deactivated whatever it was that let me do as I have always done previously!

I can't find any setting that appears to refer to this condition.

I have tried five different window managers - none give a reliable permanent opening of Firefox in the primary monitor. Google suggested deleting two files from Profile; I could find only one; deleting it did not produce the desired result. Firefox 'Memory' appears to over-ride any setting.

(srry if wrong topic) basicly when i use the customize firefox tab it tells me about the overflow menu but when i try to add BUILT-IN tools like zoom control it just, not, and also the overflow icon apears gray'ed out,

My Firefox appears to have replaced site security info at the left of the address bar, with a search function. I need it back. How do I revert to the security info it had previously? I also have a separate web search bar, and do not want web search from the address bar.

I need to disable the "command I" keystroke because it is causing alot of problems when I hit it. I am on a Mac and use a Protooarc EK01+ keyboard, This keyboard has a "settings" key and when I peess it by accident, it dislays the Ihfo dialog screen (and erases what I've already typed. Can you help me, please?

When I have set the size of the window and then move the window to the left or right then the application automatically expands the window. I do not want it to do that as I want to be able to have the firefox window where I choose and the size I have chosen, but the program automatically expands the widow to fill the screen.
