My firefox has been crashing for the past 2 hours, tried troubleshoot mode but it is still crashing every other second.
On some websites the tabs are not crashing- example mozilla website. On other websites (Twitch) -reddit it is crashing.

Since updating to the latest version, Firefox crashes constantly. All add-ons disabled, crashes on any website multiple time, crashes in Troubleshooting mode, crashes on restart. I've sent in about 10 reports today alone. Firefox is unstable and I'm unfortunately switching to Edge to continue to enjoy the web.

I'm not entirely sure what happened but I know earlier this year in as recent as July Firefox was working fine. I don't know if it was an update or what it was but now Firefox is consistently crashing multiple times a day.
There's never an error code but one of a few things happens:
I have tried disabling and removing all extensions, I've tried firewall stuff, I've tried everything I can find but the browser is only getting worse in my experience. With this last update everything loads a few seconds slower than usual as well.
Is there a solution I am missing or am I doing something wrong? I am very very close to switching browsers but I'd rather not if there is a fix.
I have the updated version of Fire Fox. My tabs have been constantly crashing. Not sure what's causing that.

Hello, I've been experiencing some issues after updating to version 106. I can be watching a video, listening to a music of viewing a site and randomly, the browser would become unresponsive and freeze. The funny thing is that music or videos keep playing in the background and the RAM or CPU usage never goes down but I can't do anything. After a while if I try to click on the browser, it then brings up a popup telling me that the app is unresponsive and I could either wait or close the app. Previously I had waited for over 2 hours hoping that it would fix itself but that never happens. The only saving grace is that I am able to restore my previous tabs after closing Firefox but tabs on my private tabs are gone forever (P.S. It's not p0rn but site that i don't want cached on my browser). This started from me updating to version 106 and currently am on 106.0.2 but the issue persists. I was hoping someone can assist me with this as I do prefer using Firefox.

Hi there. Whenever I open a new tab, it crashes, meaning that the rest of the browser keeps working fine but it is unable to load the contents of about:newtab and replaces them with a crash error. I have been tinkering around with the settings and found out it only happens when "shortcuts" is turned on for New tab. If turned off, New tab loads normally. Full disclosure: I am using Nightly on a computer nearly (but not totally) supported by Windows 11. No Nightly experiments that I think should interfere with a new tab are turned on. I've now installed Firefox several times including at least one clean install. I've worked through all the support pages on how to fix the problem, including system scan using MalwareBytes, and removing extensions, but the problem persists.
To be more precise, sometimes it just crashes immediately leaving the notices shown in the image. Sometimes it opens and stays for a while but then crashes with a similar notice.

But now the app just keeps failling. 4 tabs open and freezes. youtube can take one song to the end without several stops (hiccups) or stop completely. My firefox browser keeps crashing 7-10 times everyday . Sometimes it forces me to reset firefox then login back to my google accounts and extensions . It is very frustrating to login everyday specially google accounts as it requires 2-Step verification .
I feel nostalgic using firefox because I have been using firefox since my childhood started from 10 years ago when I first start browsing in the internet . I have not moved to any other browsers ever since . It might found to be a bit funny that I grew some emotions using this great browser and I believe the issue can be fixed .
If the crashing issue is not fixed then I am afraid that I may move to using other browsers and that looks a lot easier than facing the issue .

I want to report an issue with the Firefox 102.4 ESR for Linux.
System: OS: Raspberry Pi OS (64-bit)
An Addon called „ebesucher“ is installed and in use. This addon always visits a new website within a few seconds and that’s it, nothing special. Sometimes Firefox working for a long time, but sometimes it crashes within an hour more than one time.
So, I want to know why and is it fixable? It’s a very annoying issue.

I have 5 different profiles with different number of tabs and add-ons installed. 3 out of 5 crashes, 2 works. The problematic profiles crash 5-6 times on launch, regardless whether Firefox was started in "normal" mode or safe mode. I submitted all crash reports I found at about:crashes. Here are the IDs:
