Every time I work on the local environment a lot of my extensions go crazy on localhost, throwing enormous amount of errors. This makes console barely readable. Is there a way to disable messages thrown by extensions in the developer tools of Firefox Developer Edition?

Similar to this in Chrome with "Selected context only": https://superuser.com/a/1346827

Thanks.

I have Firefox 107.0b5 (64-bits) Snap for Ubuntu canonical-002 - 1.0 I use Ubuntu Mainline to update to newer kernels. Never had any problem doing that. I am now on 5.19.15. But when I upgrade to kernel 6 (which is now at 6.0.5) Firefox tabs crash. Reloading doesn't help. Each new tab I open gives the same crash message. I have to restart to get Firefox going again. So I removed kernel 6 and reverted back to kernel 5.19 and have no problems any more. But question, what is the problem between kernel 6 and firefox? Does anybody else experience this problem?

I have no other problems with kernel 6 with other programs or hardware or whatever, only firefox tabs crash...

Hello. I use developer's version of ff for a few weeks (currently on 107.0b2). I recently decided to switch back to stable version 106. However, when I run it it says

``` Using an older version of Firefox can corrupt bookmarks and browsing history already saved to an existing Firefox profile. To protect your information, create a new profile for this installation of Firefox. ```
So, how do I move from developer's version back to stable without losing anything?
(OS: debian 11, if it matters)
I'm trying to track down a problem in our (Java, Spring-based) web application, that seems to occur whenever some extra, unexpected requests arrive from Firefox, with no session cookie attached, and with some Sec-Fetch headers different from the requests before and after them:
Sec-Fetch-Dest=empty;Sec-Fetch-Mode=cors;Sec-Fetch-Site=same-origin
These requests do not appear in the Firefox developer panel, network tab, even with all requests selected.
But both the HTTP access log and a custom "log everything" filter show the above, with the same Firefox User Agent, no cookies, and no Referer header.
e.g. 9:13:12,426 DEBUG com.ibm.gs.houston.filters.RequestLogFilter:GET->http://localhost:9080/payment/pos?execution=e1s1 (null/false), headers:Host=localhost:9080;User-Agent=Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:107.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/107.0;Accept=*/*;Accept-Language=en-US,en;q=0.8,es-MX;q=0.5,es;q=0.3;Accept-Encoding=gzip, deflate, br;DNT=1;Connection=keep-alive;Sec-Fetch-Dest=empty;Sec-Fetch-Mode=cors;Sec-Fetch-Site=same-origin;, cookies:
I'm looking for any ideas why Fx is sending these requests.
When skipping through some Videos on Twitter by slowly dragging the playbutton through the Video green Artifacts might appear. It is reproducible. And the same pattern of artifacts will always show at the same timestamp. IMPORTANT: It doesn't happen on normal Playback only during skip-dragging through the Video. It also doesn't happen on my Nvidia GPU or Chrome.
Hello,
Perhaps, this is a better issue to bring up in bugzilla, but I wanted to start here and see if anyone else is having this issue.
Recently firefox debugger seems to fail to initialize or freeze. It goes something like this: I will open firefox fresh. Meaning, i start it with no firefox windows already open. I will open debugger on a site, or two, or three, or ten, and they all work fine. However, at some point the debugger window will "open" but never load anything, it is just a blank window. Then, I will close the window and try to open the debugger again (for any active tab, or the same tab, it doesn't seem to matter,) and nothing will happen at all. Not even the blank window, just nothing. The only remedy seems to be closing all open firefox windows and starting from scratch.
This does no effect browser windows/tabs, and firefox does not display any errors.
This does not seem to be an issue with an unresponsive script because it will happen randomly on any site i try to "inspect" at random times.
Since nothing "crashes," no crash reports are generated.
I have not been able to recreate this issue on demand yet, but it is happening frequently enough to make me post this.
I (inconveniently) tried "refreshing" my firefox profile. No change.
I am on windows 11, and the most recent firefox dev edition version, 107.0b4.
I have a weird problem on a Romanian news website: https://www.realitatea.net/ . Navigation works fine until it stops. Links for news appear active but when clicked nothing happens. I need to refresh the entire page and then it works again until it stops. This behavior is on both Windows 10 and MacOS 12.6.
I run Firefox Developer Edition.
I recently added some lines to my hosts file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts). Despite these additions, Firefox ignored the hosts file and loaded the pages I had blocked just fine. So I tried a multitude of options like disabling "Enable DNS over HTTPS" and eventually I got to work and the hosts file was respected.
So after thinking about it for awhile, I actually DO want Firefox to ignore the hosts file like it did before I made the change. I reverted the "Enable DNS over HTTPS" setting to its default of enabled, and I've tried everything else I can think of, but I just can't get it to work.
How can I configure Firefox to ignore the system HOSTS file and load blocked pages anyway?
Could really use some help.
I'm on Firefox 107.0b3 64 bit, Windows 11 22H2 22621.675. Since the Firefox update, I have two sites that will not connect after signing in. One is Fedex where I get the message: We are having trouble establishing a connection. Please refresh the page. The other is MyMedicare where I get a similar message. I've never jad a problem with either site and Chrome (which I detest) goes through okay.
I can work around this problem, but thought you should know.
I'm having an issue in which the picture-in-picture pop-out won't stay maximized. It's been happening for a while. I will maximize it on one monitor while I work on another, and it will restore itself to the last size I had it periodically. Usually, if I don't maximize it again, it will change sizes again, a few seconds later, shrinking down to about a 480p sized window.
There's no rhyme or reason for when it happens. I could be in a different FF tab or window, or in a different program, or just sitting there not doing anything, and it can happen. Sometimes, it happens multiple times in a short period of time (just now, it restored itself 7 times in a row, less than 30 seconds apart). It never happens when the video is not playing, however.
This only started a couple months ago, but it got noticeably worse in the past week or so. Does anyone know why this might be happening?
Computer specs are: Windows 10, 10.0.19043, Intel core i5-7500 CPU, ASRock B250 Gaming K4 motherboard, 16GB RAM @ 2133Mhz, NVidia GeForce GTX 1070 GPU, Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB.
A required site I need to use for work has a popup dialog box that never works right in Firefox, the popup dialog shows up as a blank box or doesn't popup at all in Firefox. I must print what is supposed to be there in that dialog box. It's been like this for a couple of years now. I've tried everything imaginable and searched high and low for the fix. I have had this particular site set as an exception to popups blocking, and then I also set it to have all popups unblocked. Still doesn't work either way. I have to use the site in Brave instead, and it's the only way I can get what I need done. I used to love Firefox SO much, I used it exclusively. But it has undergone some unpleasant changes recently, such as hiding my open tabs on my iphone. Because of these issues I find myself using other browsers more and more.
Hi Today I updated Firefox to version 106.0 and I can't get rid of the "arrow button" from top right (screenshot attached - near the minimize button, I marked it). The function of this button is clear for me - tabs management. But I can manage my tabs without special button for it. I want to remove it. I tried right clicking on it, but the "remove from toolbar" option is unavailable. I tried to customize toolbar, but it won't work either (I can't take it from te toolbar).
How to remove this button?
