Hi. I am neirodivergent. my bookmarks are not saving, I am unable to fix the issue having followed 5 online articles/support answers. what am I to do. brain melting

On various websites (such as Gmail or YouTube) I have three or more accounts. How should I use the Firefox Multi-Account Containers or any other appropriate Firefox feature in order to be able to log into all my different accounts on the same website simultaneously?

I can't sign into Sydney and I don't have a password so it says use the member ID number and I use it and it still doesn't work and I don't use the first three letters I use the numbers after that but then I have tried the first three letters also and it still didn't work

I'm having issues with my home screen shortcuts favicons not updating. when i try to edit the shortcut > use custom image > i enter the favicon.ico url > hit preview > the preview updates but my home screen shortcut doesnt.

This article didn't workout for me https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings and it occurs on both my linux machine and my windows machine.

Not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this, if I'm missing something, or if i'm missing a step in my troubleshooting.

hi i got used to a small search window in lower left of FF....is gone!. i thought it was an add on but can find no trace of it so was it a ff feature?

it would simply locate a word of my choosing on the open ff page, thats all

i asked this already but no answer. I have two recovery keys, how can i check which is the one set for my preferred installation of Firefox. One was for my en-CA install, the other for an en-US install made a week later due to an update glitch. I had to use my en-CA recovery key to recover my settings to the en-US install, which then made a new recovery key.

I want to get rid of the spurious en-US install. -en-CA is in it's original location c:\program files\mozilla firefox

-en-US is in "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" the directory trees appear the same except en-CA has a locale.ini file that the other does not.

Does the original recovery key STILL apply to the -en-CA install or has the -en-US install's key replaced it.

And can I delete the -en-US folder with consequences?

Everytime my phone or tablet does an update, Google changes my search engine from DuckDuckGo and Firefox to itself. How can I shoot it (Google)and make it go away. I hate them . !

Good day, Last update of Firefox "131.0.2", I faced an issue mentioned in the attached below. Lines of text or numbers are overlayed over each other. I downgraded to Firefox "128.3.1esr" and the problem is resolved. Now I'm staying on the older version till the issue is resolved. Firefox is using too much of my Pcs proccessing power and causing my pc to freeze. The videos Im watching and twitch will just freeze then I have to hard reset my pc because the windows option to shut down or restart will do nothing. Even when I hit window+ctrl+shift+b to reset my graphics card it does nothing. please help me or I will have to stop using firefox which Ive been using for 20 years.

This is something I've noticed in the last couple of mouths...

Initially everything on Firefox runs fine for the first 1-3 hours, but after that the multiple YouTube website video tabs I generally have open, especially the very last YouTube website video tab that's open, or any new YouTube website video tab I open, starts to lag like crazy.

Using my mouse to click the play/pause on the video player, or pressing the play/pause function key or spacebar on my keyboard, takes a good 3 or 4 seconds before the input action is registered, and it's not just that but the entire UI of the web page itself is slowed down.

Doing simple things like clicking on-screen buttons to navigate, and scrolling down to load comments, or scrolling down to load other video thumbnails etc etc, takes a good few seconds to actually work.

In general the YouTube tab(s) become very slow and unresponsive, and it's not just the video player on the tabs - it's the YouTube website in general that is affected.

I don't see a substantial difference in CPU or RAM in Task Manager when these 'slow downs' occur, but the fan speeds inside my mini PC do spin louder and louder.

For whatever reason this problem ONLY happens with YouTube. Other websites via other tabs tend to run and function just fine 24/7.

I'm running the latest 133.0.3 version of Firefox, and my system specs are as follows:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700T CPU @ 2.00GHz Storage: 595.2 GB Installed RAM: 16 GB (15.7 GB usable)

Other people have also reported similar things over on Reddit with regards to Firefox and YouTube.
