When ever I start Firefox, Bing comes up. My default search is Google. This is set in settings. Why is Bing even there? I do not want it associated with Firefox. I am getting ready to dump Firefox unless this can be undone.

Hi. I have followed the instructions on the Mozilla site above however this does not work. The Enterprise Roots keep reloading after a while.

Any idea how to stop this happening?

I have read many articles on this but nothing works. The E Roots will in initially not reload but eventually after a day or three its back.

HOW DO I GET MICROSOFT OUT OF MY COMPUTER?

EXAMPLE: I NEVER SIGNED UP/IN FOR ONE DRIVE. IT MEANS THAT THINGS SUCH AS DOWNLOADS HAS A MICROSOFT TOOL IN THE FILE LOCATION.

HOW DO I QUICKLY FIND THINGS LIKE MOZ VPN TO DOWNLOADS? I RECEIVE VPN FOR FREE. IS THERE A SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE THAT JUSTIFIES THE COST OF FIREFOX'S VPN?

The search box on the home screen that appears below the Google logo cannot be cleared. It was a simple matter a few days ago but now it does not work. When I Clear All History, the history in the search box remains.

Hi : We are planning out server farm capacity, network gear needed, for a new site for our AI micro-services. We are curious when do you think that Firefox will support TLS 1.4 ? and will the overhead/utilization difference be between TLS 1.4 and 1.3 which we currently use exclusively. I understand that we are talking servers, and FireFox is a browser, but we cant dig up any real-world stats on the workload difference between the two. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi: Recently Firefox, latest release now, won't show the Taskbar when the cursor is moved to the bottom of the screen. I have no addons or themes installed, ie, plain vanilla Firefox. If I start Firefox in troubleshoot mode it works properly. Any help please? Thanks Donald

I clicked on a link in an email and FF began opening it. It then stopped and gave a message that the site was causing FF to run slow. That was an understatement, as FF never continued and didn't fully open the site. I copied the URL to Chrome and it had no problem quickly opening the site. What do I need to fix in FF to make it happy again? I'm trying to run Firefox in a vm and expose it for remote connections to access from puppeteer.

"firefox --headless --remote-debugging-port=9222 --remote-debugging-host=0.0.0.0 --remote-allow-hosts=x.x.x.x " - This is the command I'm using to launch the browser but the Firefox is listening on 127.0.0.1 only. And accepts only calls from the local machine. Despite many efforts I'm not able to make Firefox listens to my public ip or 0.0.0.0. This is the output I'm getting while launching

With chrome I'm able to achieve the above use case. Chrome listens on 0.0.0.0 when adding the --remote-debugging-address "google-chrome --no-sandbox --headless --remote-debugging-port=9222 --remote-debugging-address=0.0.0.0".

I have limited control over the vm so I can't use ssh tunnel as well. Are there any solutions available to make Firefox listens to the public IP like chrome?

Whenever I restart Firefox, it uses about 30% of my RAM, however this increases over time and after a week it can be over 60%. No new extensions, tabs, windows opened, nothing changed from usage of day 1 to day 7. I have attempted everything in the support post for Firefox taking up too much RAM, and nothing has led to longterm solutions. This issue originally started about 2 months ago so it hasn't been consistent, but I haven't changed anything either in my browsing habits or the hardware of my computer to causes this change. Hardware acceleration is off, and using the same extensions (and more) on other browsers doesn't result in the same problem on those browsers. The problem is worst by far when I'm using YouTube.

I am trying to troubleshoot a problem with high CPU usage by Firefox when using Mozilla VPN - VPN ON.. Problem occurs when starting in Safe Mode, and still occurs after performing Refresh. Problem can also occur just by changing to a new tab. Problem does not occur if Mozilla VPN is turned OFF. Problem does not occur with Microsoft Edge. Mozilla VPN Support said it is a Firefox issue, and recommended contacting Firefox if safe start or refresh did not help.
