I have entered in exceptions for a web page that Firefox continues to block....I have gone through your steps 4 times now...one time out of 4 you actually let the web page through....since then you don't again...what is wrong with your system? as I am not receiving a download link from the intended exception due to the fact you are not honoring it....

I had bookmarks and backgrounds and everything saved on my browser. My mac book died and now when i open it everything reset. I didn't have any profiles or sync on but why did everything reset. And am i able to get what I had back.

Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch Firefox (and add Sites shortcuts) 2. Do not navigate to any website 3. Observe network activity using Process Monitor or clash verge

Expected Behavior: - Opening about:home should not establish TCP connections to remote sites unless the user interacts with them.

Actual Behavior: - TCP connections are observed immediately to sites listed in Top Sites shortcuts, even without user interaction.

Notes: - Disabling DNS prefetch, speculative preconnect, and predictor settings does not prevent these connections. - Extensions have been ruled out, I can distinguish darkreader.org(extention) mozilla.org(update) and reddit.com(your sponsor url) from *.edu.*(my shortcuts), DON'T mention that. - Connections occur before any page navigation or clicks. - I suspect that Firefox may attempt to load site icons (favicon / tile thumbnails), but this is unconfirmed.

In Firefox, the animation exhibits performance issues like stuttering, particularly in elements that rely on animateTransform and animate for movement or opacity transitions. This issue is not present in Chrome, where the animations run smoothly without any noticeable lag.

Expected Behavior: The animation should render smoothly on both Chrome and Firefox without any stuttering or lag, providing a seamless experience for users.

Steps to Reproduce:

Open the provided SVG code in Firefox.

Observe the animation, particularly the elements with animate and animateTransform attributes.

Notice the stuttering or lag compared to the smooth rendering in Chrome.

Hi, Since three or four months, whenever I log into Outlook live, either on Mac or Windows PC, I get a security warning saying that the information will not be secure (Please see attachment.) When I log into the same account, from Edge for example, I do not get the warning popup. I really enjoy using Firefox and would love to continue but this case is worrying me a bit. Any idea to help? So, after using firefox in the background to browse websites or watch videos I checked my memory usage in firefox with about:memory -> Measure and saw that youtube was consuming a decent amount >2GB (checked the main url when clicking the youtube src, it was the video on that sole tab i was watching and nothing else playing youtube in the bg) so i closed that tab, waited a bit and re-measured but then see that the memory usage for youtube rose about 200MB... and the website for youtube is that same url for the tab that i just closed (when checking the src in the results for Measure). I've been revisiting the about:memory page, reloaded it and re-Measured and youtube is STILL THERE. Even now, 10 minutes later i still see youtube there, with none of my tabs running youtube.

If i close firefox entirely and re-open my tabs then it'll very likely fix it but this has to be a major issue no? I shouldn't have to close the entire browser program just to fix a website visit, which is youtube of all websites.

As of this moment, firefox, with 8 tabs open, is consuming 4,452.99MB (~4.5GB) where 2.5GB is youtube for that page i closed.

I don't know if sharing memory reports from the about:memory page give my cookies away or leave me open to a similar vulnerability so I won't share it unless a dev or similar asks for it but for now, I've included an image showing all the tabs i have open on firefox, 2 windows.

REPEATING IMAGES involving . Macbook Air M4 Tahoe 26.2

When sliding from the primary Mac screen to another on the same computer the Firefox image (and ONLY that image) is duplicated on each additional screen image loaded making the use of multiple screens virtually useless.

Loading website for BacaPoa.frontsteps.com does not work, now fails ("not secured") . This is business site I have for years.? [windows 11] Is the a bypass or override I can do? JR

I'm changing computers. I want to upload my browser's bookmarks to a file. Then I can clear it for the next person to start from scratch. So far, I can't find a tab to make it happen. Please help. Thanks.

My browser is not working as it should. Several sites do not work anymore and the browser keeps crashing. I'd like to refresh the browser, but the button is missing. I tried going to troubleshooting mode, but the button is not there either.

Not sure if uninstalling would do the same thing? Just not sure what is the best way to refresh. Thanks for any help!

I love my current Firefox settings, bookmarks, folders and color, background image, dark mode. All I want to do is to create a Firefox browser backup file. I don't want to restore or sync anything. I just want a backup file in case of computer failure to restore to my next computer if ever necessary. I'm using Windows 10. I think they used to be "json" files? The only "Backup" link in the menu only addresses Restoring from a file. I just want to create a backup file for this current browser just the way it is. Is there a simple solution? Thank you SO much!!

Is it possible to click individual segments of an URL in the address bar to navigate there directly (without manually selecting and deleting the tail)? It's a convenient way to reach upper layers of a website.

For example Vivaldi implements it via Ctrl+<Mouseover/click> (see attached screen capture)

Is there an option or addon to enable this? Thanks in advance
