In my Settings, the browser's fallback language is set to Portuguese, without giving me any other language choice, nor leaving it blank. I assume this is the reason I keep seeing menus, notifications, etc., randomly popping up in Portuguese.

Sorry but I hate version 157, and would like to drop back to a previous version.

Is this possible? I can't seem to find a link to older versions anywhere.

I have saved on paper (!) my Mozilla and Firefox password but it is not recognised when I try to get passwords saved for sites in P&S To get P&S to fill in a password I have saved with firefox, it requests a password and I can't find a way to reset my password or if even the one I have saved is the right one. I assume that password must be saved by firefox because it automatically signed me in to this site...but I'm being blocked out of my sites because of this.

a few days ago I bring up Firefox and try to access a website with the URL and it automatically goes to Google as a search. What has changed? and how do I get rid of it and have some control without going thru Google which I don't like to use?

The new lavender color for highlighting in the drop-down boxes and elsewhere is completely unwelcome. I want to restore the previous setting to blue. How do I do this? Lavender is a color I loathe and if I can't change it I will start using another browser.

yahoo mail is asking me to enable javascript. It isn't recognising my email and tells me to use another device (which does work), but I want to use laptop. Why is it asking for java when it's already installed?

I'm running Firefox 157.0 on MacOS Tahoe 26.6.2. The same lack of result occurs in all websites. I restarted the computer (several times), reinstalled Firefox, tested in troubleshoot mode, checked download settings, deleted history, blah, blah, blah. Nothing has worked, except to skip Save Image As... and switch to drag-and-drop.

Why would this suddenly happen after decades and thousands of successful uses of Save Image As...?

What other options do I have to restore Save Image As...?

I restarted my computer tonight and when I came back to Firefox, I found myself unable to right-click "Save As" images. I click "Save As" and then the window for me to select a file path / rename the file etc. just doesn't pop up at all.

I also notice that on a site with a "Save PNG" button that should also bring up this window, it also now does nothing.

I Refreshed Firefox through the "More troubleshooting options" and strangely this enabled me to save ONE image with a "Save As" right-click/button, but then trying a second time went back to no window popping up. I refreshed twice like this and both times only the first attempt would work before all others would be unresponsive.

Tell me how to get to my gmail account using the Firefox browser without going through Mozilla. The extra step is irritating, to say the least. And I've been using gmail for years without Mozilla.

I followed the steps to activate the built-in VPN, but once I sign in and it says it's successful, when I click on the VPN button to turn it on, it just shows me the "get started" VPN panel again. I'm not sure how to get out of that loop. I tried fully closing Firefox and starting again

I have Firefox 157 with multiple profiles. OS is Mac Tahoe 26.6.

I am unable to save images on some profiles. Clicking Save Image As does nothing. Attempting to change the Downloads directory also does nothing.

On my default profile, it also has intermittent issues with saving. Currently it works most of the time and the Downloads directoy is able to be changed.

What is the problem?

I Accidentally signed out of my account and then had to change my password, now all old passwords and bookmarks are gone! Help to restore please. Now when I sign in, it's with the new password and I can't access any of my old back-ups.
