New Tab is either the FF page or Blank? Just Like Goggle Chrome?? REALLY!!!???

If you plan to be "Chrome" by a different name, then why don't we all just move TO Chrome?

My settings have this right at the top, but I am the "organizer." I am the one that set things up on my oldest laptop. When I updated the laptop with a new one, I had that message, but it was okay at that point. But now - new laptop, and I want the control back. Please guide me in how to do that.

there is no bookmark sidebar button at the right of the address bar

I am running firefox in 5 windows with at least 7 tabs each every time i exit, reopen of update it i have more that 35 Bookmark LEFT Side Bars to close IF i have the patience to close all of them WHICH NEVER HAPPENS... (this is happening since too long, I am pissed off...)

I searched, tried a couple of "solutions" to no avail

When starting Firefox with a completely new generated profile, I still get following errors in the Browser console tool:

At this time using Firefox, I haven't configured a Firefox sync-account, to sync settings with the central stored profile on Firefox servers.

Solution: May it is helpful, that if a sync-account isn't configured by a user, these function calls should be suppressed by Firefox, in order to avoid these exception/error messages in Browser console. These error message are just irritating messages, as long as a sync-account isn't configured and activly used.

I want to pin a couple of extension to my toolbar, and not have them buried in the Extensions drop down. I used to have this, but had to reload my computer and lost it.

I cannot see the text I highlight for copy or links so I don't know if it's copied or not- is there a way to adjust that? It's very irritating..

after upgraded to 137.0.2 ... 'settings, general page, applications,ms-settings' calls for 'Use Settings (default). since i keep all app settings at 'always ask' what is this new setting, or why did it change? thankyou

Je viens de m'ouvrir un compte MOZILLA ,car précisement sur CHROME mon compte MICROSOFT est pollué par ce WOT sécurity scan qui vient , je ne sais d'où et qui , au prétexte de me protéger vient de bloquer mon blog de théâtre amateur sous prétexte que c'est un site pour adultes alors qu'il n'en est rien ! I have an issue that even in settings page, here, in Firefox - i have around 50 fps. I have 240hz monitor and 4070 gpu and 14900hx cpu. In Chrome - i have noticeable 240 fps. What should i do to have same 240 here, in Firefox?

When I open gmail on Firefox it is automatically opening a new email tab. How do I disable this?

I also cannot select gmail in my "mail to" applications.

I've been using Firefox in Windows for years as my default browser. Suddenly tonight, Microsoft Edge became my default. When I go into Windows Settings and try to change back to Firefox, Windows offers me only Microsoft browsers as alternatives (or offers to let me into the Microsoft Store): Windows Edge or Internet Explorer.

The Control Panel / Settings page "Set Default Apps" is the only way that I know that Windows lets users set default browsers, but it suddenly seems to be restricting me to only MS browsers.

Firefox works normally in every other way, but warns me now every time I launch it that I have a different default browser. When I click the button in the warning (or in Firefox's Tools / Settings) I just get put back to the Windows "Set Default Apps" page, which, again, only lets me choose Microsoft browsers.

What could have happened? I haven't altered my Firefox configuration or installed extensions or plug-ins in a long time. If I uninstall & reinnstall Firefox, will I lose my many configuration & interface settings and will I have to reinstall all my extensions -- or will the reinstalled Firefox remember its existing configuration? Or would that probably not help at all.

I'm very computer-savvy, but have run out of ideas. Can you help??
