Hey All,

I've tried many things to resolve this issue, but none of them seem to be working. For some time now I have not been able to see the homepage of wordpress.com with full information i.e. stats, notifications, etc. I'm running Firefox 15 on Mac OSX Lion with the following settings and add-ons. I've tried disabling the various privacy add-ons one-by-one to no avail. Please help!

Ok. So I have been reading and reading on here. There is a website that autocompeltes in my awesome bar. It will NOT GO AWAY no matter how many times I clear ALL history, delete ALL cookies, etc. There is no bookmark saved with said website. (www.axlscloset.com).

The moment I type the letter "a" in my awesome bat, FF suggests www.axlscloset.com. I have also tried the SHIFT + DELETE on my mac. It is absolutely driving me crazy. What can I do short of resetting FF?

To update, this is happening with all letters of the keyboard. For example, "w" yield www.whitehouse.gov even though I have not visited it in months. "C" yield cbsnews.com.

Again, please note no bookmarks or the like are saved. All history and cookies have been cleared.

I just got a newer Mac Pro and loaded OS 10.8. Then I used the Migration Assistant to transfer all of my files, programs, and settings to the new machine (old machine was running OS 10.6.8). When I try to open Firefox, I get a Profile Missing dialog box. It says: Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible.

Does anyone know why this is happening?? If so, how does one go about fixing it?? If anyone has any ideas, your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I added social networking to my accounts on mountain lion. In Safari there is a share button directly next to the address bar. I am wondering if this feature is also compatible with firefox. I can't seem to find a share button.

I am trying to achieve a one click drop down menu without side selection for "Safari". Possibly I need to drag bookmarks and folders from the "Safari" folder into the "unsupported " folder, but when I tried this it doubled everything I drug in.

I've followed directions for importing from HTML file and importing from another browser to no avail. I did get empty folders importing from another browser. Just empty folders no bookmarks.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I've used Firefox for years and have the most recently updated version, but the website I created and maintain is suddenly wonky on Firefox--text out of alignment, fonts look weird, pictures overlap text. I've tried every fix you suggest--every one! The website looks fine on Safari. What's going on, and how can I fix it?

I'm trying to find the latest version of Firefox for Windows 2008 R2 for offline installation. My laptop is a Mac and the download keeps defaulting to OSX and I cannot find any link to get to the windows version.

nytimes.com keeps giving me error message 400 bad request. it loads on safari, chrome. i've got latest firefox. any suggestions?

I saw many questions like "Components.classes[xyz]" is undefined, but I have an issue with the Components.classes object itself being undefined. I have a small dummy html page where I'm trying to run a basic sample script from http://books.mozdev.org/chapters/ch08.html#77008 (slightly altered):

I've already tried running Firefox in safe mode, and it's a fresh installation of the application. Am I missing some sort of initialization?

If I am working on a new email, it can just disappear. If I have saved the email as a draft, sometimes it will disappear but will go back to saved drafts, with or without additional copy. d

I have an iMac where all my booksmarks are and I am trying to sync to my new Macbook Pro Retina that I recently purchased. I followed Firefox directions on how to sync my device. First I went to my laptop: tools > set up sync. Then I went to my iMac, went to the firefox homepage > sync > pair a device > entered the code from my macbook pro. Then nothing. The directions say that it will say "device connected" and will automatically start syncing, but I don't see anything. Finding the recovery key option does not work either. When I go to preferences > sync, I don't even have the option for managing my recovery key. Help?

I just added the Yahoo Toolbar to FireFox. When I did this, it automatically added a Yahoo drop menu to go with the Firefox ones. I have no need for it and want it gone. I'm trying to contact Yahoo, but no luck so far. The suggestions they have in their support Q & A don't help.

I'm having problems with pop up windows in Ebay, they are not coming up, even after I add ebay.com.au to my allowable pop ups, in the Firefox Preferences Menu under the "Content" tab!

I want to add a $1 handling charge to my ebay item and the window just goes grey with a spinning gray wheel but nothing happens, I've tried uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling but nothing works.

Pop ups work in Safari when using Ebay so it's a Firefox issue, can anybody help, could it be the new IOS Mountain Lion 10.8.2?? Any help would be appreciated as this is going to bug me..

I have Facebook as my first tab, pinned as an app tab, and Google as my homepage on the second tab. Whenever I start up Firefox, I can search Google and every other site, but the URL does not change in the Awesome Bar, just remains on 'Go to a Web Site', so it does not track my history, and does not allow me to go backward/forward through pages. All other tabs work just fine. Also the tab will not be closed sometimes, or Firefox will act like the tab doesn't exist when I scroll through them. Have tried some add-on disabling and I cant find the root of the problem.

Any help appreciated

Am using Mac OSX MountainLion with latest firefox browser. When i go to any web page if a link is provided in a page i cant open it by

            * right click -> Open Link in New Tab

Not even Open with new window is also working Every time i wanna copy the link location and go to new tab and pasting it to open a page.

Why this happening ? How to solve it ?
