After updating to Firefox 14 and to the 11.3 flash Firefox will hang on every flash website I try to view on a Win2008R2 server.
I can reproduce this on several machines after installing the latest Flash update and it does not repro if I disable the flash plug in.
I have already tried completely uninstalling everything from scratch on this server with no results, including deleting all files related to flash and FF.

I also unistalled the plugin and reinstalled many times to try to correct this, still crashing....

I'm running Ubuntu 12.04, firefox 25 on a older machine with socket A CPU. It does not support SSE2, thus Flash 11.2 is not an option. I installed 11.1.r102, but Firefox won't let me used it because it detects it's an old version. Chromium works fine though.
So how do I force Firefox to use the version of flash I want it to use??

Fire fox and it's persistent problems since versions 24 26 and 32 ok so here is my report on firefox flash and web-GL performance and the fishtank demo by microsoft.... up to version 23 on fire fox almost every problem was fixed and performance on an ATI 5770 saphire GPU and quad core AMD black edition was at least 30 to 50 fps on the fish demo around 40 fps at 2000 fish on the fishtank demo https://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/performance/fishIETank/default.html and at least 17 fps on 1000 fish on the http://www.fishgl.com/ now however your talking about 17fps jumping to arounf 37fps spasmodically on the fishtank demo on a MSI 280X 3gb AMD graphics card (an insanely better card than the 5770 (that played Deus X human revolution perfectly well on full effects).... flash plug-in persistently performs badly on firefox since the new skin plug-in's around version 32 and often crashes and performed very badly on a 16GB Quad core amd. while chrome has always had a slightly better speed firefox has persistently had better features ... chrome doing 1 process per window is cool though... i would suggest it is not the adobi plugin that sucks i believe performance of the flash plug-in to be perfectly adequate within the pale moon version of firefox browser and i believe it must be persistent spanners in the works of firefox code for recompilations of that code work perfectly. yours cheerfully a concerned user RS
why can I only watch movies (Netflix & Amzon) on firefox if I run as administrator?

Firefox is a fresh new install, version 35.0.1 downloaded 2-4-2015 and virus checked There have been no preferences modified with about:config The user profile is new, all previous have been abandoned
Adobe Flash has been uninstalled, then reinstalled to the latest version. All plugins are disabled except OpenH264 1.3, Shockwave Flash 16.0.0.305, and Java SE U75 10.75.2.13
Video players partially load, but video never even begins to play.
I can load up Avant Browser Portable and they work exactly right, on the same computer. I can load Firefox 35 or 27 or whatever version on a different WindowsXP computer, and then the videos will work.
It is just the XP-Pro system that will never play videos in Firefox. I've tried all that I can think of besides reinstalling Windows itself.
How do I fix this problem?

Since the latest update to version 35, many sites that use javascript to manipulate images tend to crash firefox and make either the guilty tab or all of firefox close suddenly. (Firefox on Debian 7 Wheezy Linux, all updates current). I use firefox daily for web development and this regression bug is VERY annoying for my workflow. I understand you cannot take every situation into account. I do not have the time to investigate what has made Firefox less stable. I really hope you can fix this performance problem. If I can do anything concrete to help besides jumping into the code, let me know.

I have Windows 7 on a laptop. I just installed Firefox yesterday. Chrome got a bug and I could not get rid of so I decided to try Firefox again. I love the way it looks and works. But, when I sign in to Facebook and play Scrabble, I can only place one letter on the board by typing on the keyboard. Once it places one letter by typing, it will not let me use typing to place any more letters. I have to use the mouse to drag the letters on the board after the first letter. Chrome allowed continuous typing to place all the letters. Any ideas?

I noticed some occasional skips in Pandora today, could be network congestion, but it's never happened before. Then I thought I remembered something got changed with regards to how flash objects are handled when not in focus or something.
