When I click on the Mozilla icon in the task bar to open the browser the browser window does not show up on the screen. I know it is opened because when I drag the mouse over the Mozilla icon I can see the page in the small screen I can click on that but it still does not appear in maximized size. I can click on the x in the small box and Mozilla will close.
I did nothing to cause this just left my desk for a minute came back and could not get the window to reappear. Tried to update the program but that did not change anything.

크롬 + 코모도 + 파이어폭스 셋다 포기할수 없어서 그냥 쓰고 있습니다만... 알려 드릴 필요가 있을것 같아서 질문글 올렸습니다.

Following message appears: There appears to be another program process already listening on socket [127.0.0.1: 6880]. Loading of torrents via command line parameter will fail until this is fixed.

Our companies continue using FF16.01 because higher FF versions hang after close. Same conclusion on 2013-11-25. Tested all the day: a working portable FF16, with extensions enabled, then disabled; plug-ins updated; parent.lock file deleted. Put on a USB stick. Then copy to C: User Account \Applications Data\PortApp (WinXP). Then update the working FF16 to FF25 (via portable apps). Start FF25, close... process hangs. One can only kill the process using Task Manager. Problem is only to FF. Please do something about it after 1 yr! I now use Chrome more.

Hi I'm having some issues currently with my Firefox v. 25.0.1. As soon as I start the browser up, it tries to load the restore session page from the previous crash. Pretty much before the page could fully load Firefox would crash.
I have tried to create a new profile and the new profile seems to work just fine but as soon as I try to copy the sessionstore files from the crashing profile to the new profile, the same thing would happen. From time to time I would be able to get the browser working but that's maybe once in 25 or so attempts where it actually loads up correctly for me to restore my past sessions.

the video plays normally only the audio and video come in breaks for example 0,5 seconds play 0,3 seconds pauze repeat repeat infinity i could play any video fullscreen in 1080p on any website in the past i didnt made any major changes to my computer or any changes to flash or firefox i am insured i have the latest updates installed and made a reboot to be sure
maybe there is some simple solution but im not a professional with chrome from google i have no problems with flash i just prefer firefox now i have to switch browsers each time i come to a video or i just skip the video

When I run Firefox it just churns away and expires. Sometimes, if I just leave it, after ten/twenty minutes it will run v, v slowly. I have uninstalled and installed Firefox. I have the most recent version of Avira [14] and have removed Firefox and added to permitted applications, still no joy. Am writing this from another Browser. Also if I close Firefox and then try to restart I keep getting the Firefox is running... Getting seriously annoying now. I can only assume that Firefox is not quite up-to-date with Avira's version yet. The other browser runs without problem.

I had issued with my ndvidia drivers over the weekend. I was not able to uninstall them to install the newest one. I had to manually go through the registry and delete all keys for nvidia. Then ran a registry cleaner, rebooted and was able to update to the newest graphics drivers. However since then, Firefox will crash almost immediately, or when clicking a link.
What I did then was uninstall Firefox, and also removed all references in the registry for Firefox (including deleting the directory it was under). I reinstalled Firefox, have NOT added any plugins or extensions as it still crashes.
Not sure what to do at this point other than discontinue using what was my favorite browser.

Just updated to FF 26. Now I get an annoying banner bar telling me that FP has been disabled in my AOL homepage. I know I have an outdated version since anything else crashes FF and yes I've tried all the suggested fixes. I have the Flash block extension add on enabled. The banner bar gives me the option to block or allow. What happens if I click allow and can I unchange it if I want to or can I hide the banner bar from displaying? I really wish FF would do something about this on going problem with FP. I don't have this problem in either IE9 of Chrome.
