Hello.

I want to delete certificate "GeoTrust Global CA 2" that expired on 2019-03-04. This certificate is located in the Security Device "Builtin Object Token".

I tried to delete this certificate via settings (about:preferences#advanced -> View Certificates -> Delete or Distrust...). The certificate has been removed. But the certificate appeared again at the opening of these settings.

I tried to delete this certificate via "NSS Security Tools" with such command certutil.exe -D -d "D:\MyProgs7\FirefoxPortable52.9ESR\Data\profile" -n "GeoTrust Global CA 2" But the certificate appeared again after restarting Firefox.

How can I delete unwanted, expired, builtin certificate?

Thanks.

on the soufran group home page, and went thru the options, last 1 was the technical. it wouldn't respond. ( doesn't help that Firefox, also stops responding, frequently ! the amount of time wasted is significant.)as a neophyte to computers, I worry about my "choices", interfering with the operation of this laptop ( hp pavilion ze4900 ) ! here' hoping. read an article that gave "Ff" a gold medal rating. although, I was experiencing probs with it.( ad blocking etc, hence, also opting for 2nd browser "Qwant " would really appreciate some Direct help ( or feedback, after error reporting, "oops, really embarrassing!",not really helpful ! ) from mozilla. hope I've not been too "verbose". thanks very much, in anticipation. Running MS-XP sp3 as OS with MFirefox as browser.

Updated Firefox on Tuesday 10 October on my desktop machine. Instantly crashed. Got crash report box appearing. Report not submitting properly on Restart or Quit. Have tried many times. Have also uninstalled and re-installed twice to see if that would cure the problem. No success.

Please note that I'm submitting this on a laptop - for obvious reasons.

I will be doing something on Firefox and out of nowhere a tab opens up with an offer or to a website I have not clicked on or requested. Its as if Firefox has some kind of built in thing, maybe its from an add-on I don't know, but I am absolutely certain I have not caused it. It takes place while I am reading something, and have not clicked on anything. Any ideas how can I find out where this is coming from and put a stop to it?

Is there any way, either via about:config or a WebExtension, to prevent a new window opening in Firefox when Ctrl+N is pressed? This question was asked (and resolved) a year ago via a Xul extension (see 1148778). So that solution is now out. Custom Windows keybinding utilities like AutoHotKey are not an option either, because this is for a work computer (don't have Admin rights). If there's no current solution, can the feature be requested?

Full disclosure: you can see I'm using 52 ESR, but I am closely following the 57+ adjustment period; I would much rather stay with Firefox than move to another Gecko or similar browser in June 2018. My hope is that by then, what may be seen as lost *Firefox* features via Tab Mix Plus, HCTP and AiOS will largely be added or at least planned to be added to the core browser by then.
