I am using firefox latest vestion 44, when I switched to high contrast mode, I am not able to see preview of video's in my web application. I simply used the iframe with embedded youtube video url. Its working fine in normal mode, preview also visible with thumbnail image. Is any idea why its happening. I tried by refreshing the firefox, but didn't help much. I used previous version of FF(34) , some thumbnails was visible in preview.

I cannot change the saved password that comes up when I log into my AOL mail Under firefox preferences , security, there is a place to add sit addresses and passwords to save but it wont allow me to add it

Maybe i'm doing something wrong, but i keep getting tripped-up by a most annoying setting i can't seem to alter.

When i open a new tab, which defaults to the page i want of course, the cursor is IN the address bar at THE END of the address !!!! This is curse-words annoying as i'm sure you understand. ALL the other browsers default to the correct place on the page or form, decided by the page designer...

There used to be (yet another) plugin to correct this, but apparently that doesnt work anymore. So i assume there must be a setting somewhere, or is it a bug? Would you like me to point this bug out, in some bug-reporting section?

Firefox's fireftp addon's author's donate via paypal is missing the only option I use. His instructions for invoking the client in win 10 64-bit points to C:/Program Files but it should be C:/Program Files (x86). He doesn't have a contact email published so please let him know.

Tried Backup function twice. Still can't open any folders (in Bookmarks Sidebar or Library). Help!

In the new firefox 44 application within inspector I noticed that now I see all my old styles showing up crossed out in particular the ones that are being over ridden by newer styles. While this is good to know, it's very annoying to have to hunt for the style i'm trying to edit is there a way to turn this off?

One response to this problem was that the option could be found under "Keep until", but that doesn't appear in my dropdown. If you tell the doctor "It hurts when I do this", his response may be "don't do that", but he probably won't cut off whatever you're doing it with. I.e., if a feature isn't working right for some people, don't remove it, fix it!

I want to use Ublock but I see lots of folks recommend Ublock Org (original), I am just an everyday light user who would like to eliminate as many advertisements as possible. Thanks

Somehow the search bar vanished from my wife's browser page while mine is still there. We both use the same computer. Tried to find how to reinstall , but no info on that. Version 44 is on the computer.

I cleared my history last night using FF and today I am getting a "not logged in message" when I try to access a Facebook page. I never had this problem before. I have no problem using IE to access these pages. I always used CCleaner to clear my history before this. I know it has to be a simple setting that I can not find. Found not help googling it either.

We use firefox at work. Our system is set has the homepage. In the past week, people are experiencing when they click on the firefox icon instead of getting the login page for our system, they are receiving a blank page. I have checked the options in tools and the homepage is set up correctly. If they click on their home icon in the toolbar it will take them to the system login page. I am not understand why it is suddenly doing this. Anyone have any suggestions what the issue is?

Bing has taken over my firefox program. I tried the shift/control/A fix, but did not know what to do when I got to extensions. I did not see McAffee or anything to disable. I have deleted and reinstalled firefox, but bing came back with the new installation.

I do have windows 7. Not sure about the plugins, and don't know where to find them.

I understand searchlock protects your original search, but when the results are produced and you open them, does it protect then too, or are we open to them spying on us again. I notice searchlock comes up in the original search in the url area, but I don't see that when I open a source from the search. Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide. I need to write letters and keep copies. Word on XP was fine . Word 2013 also worked. What can be used and how on Windows 10? Is there an alternative called "word-on-Line" that can be used satisfactorily.?

After installing video downloadhelper on Firefox, which was stated as successful, I have not seen the updated toolbar with the animated three balls logo and its arrow on my current Firefox toolbar, I have used downloadhelper in the past many times. but recently lost the animated three balls etc when trying to change my default search engine from yahoo to ask, and I suspect that my Firefox settings were altered inadvertently in error. Please advise what settings should be enabled/disabled to get video downloadhelper running again as it did in the past.

Can no longer print from Firefox. "Printer error" dialogue box appears that says 'an error occurred while printing' then "Print Preview Error" dialogue box appears that also says 'an error occurred while printing'. Tried the reset and refresh fixes to no avail. Read about avast software affecting some people but do not have avast. Can print from other applications so it does not seem to be a printer problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
